Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 30, 2023July 30, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 5 Warne Magic and No. 8 Dance The Limbo The 5 gets much easier company here and he just needs to offset the box. Can step so with a little room he can go fast and be hard to stop this time. The 8 is probably that fastest dog in the race with the worse draw. However she can show speed and this is easy as mentioned and compared to what she faces most weeks, it’s a drop for her and can win if she crosses. Race 5 No. 8 Commander Mack and No. 2 Believin’ Blade Finally!! He’s got the box he needs over this trip. I speak of the 8 who has that dazzling turn of foot over the short course when he comes off the mat. There are no excuses here. Musters up out wide and should get every hope to take the arm first turn. If he does, it will be kind regards and catch you later. Incredibly priced to play here. Small EW spec on the 2 for nothing more than he gets these lucky first turn runs and he’s $41. Hits the frame an awful lot and this could open up for him if the 8 carves over. It’s all about pink here. This is his chance and he must take it. Race 6 No. 2 Tears and Tanty The bolter for the night. Don’t be too quick to dismiss her here. Been racing much better dogs over the 520 and gets a good draw here use the early dash she can show to put herself in this. If she finds that forward spot, she will give this a huge shake at odds. EW go at the quote Race 7 No. 5 Escapologist and No. 6 Riley Magic These two won’t find it much easier. The 5 can pounce on the arm with her best step. That would be it. All over. Start is all she needs to get right. The 6 also goes quick and likes being off the track. Gets a drop in company here and will look to go forward and hard to catch as well. One of them should go close. Race 9 No. 5 Extremely Smooth and No. 8 Aztec Kid This has got possible carnage written all over it. We first look for the fence diver and that’s the 5. Drops to the rail right away and takes any run presented when they hit first turn. Sustains the run home at good odds. Great EW show. Then there is old mate in box 8. Well it is what it is. He leads and he beats these by a stratosphere. He doesn’t lead then we have problems, and so do the others. He has one of the biggest thinking minds in greyhound racing. This lot can’t hold a candle to him on the clock. The trip is better for him here as he doesn’t get a lot of time to mull things over. He only has to lead, he can, and then they are running for 2nd. Interesting race. Race 11 No. 2 Kid Kimetto and No. 4 Opie Monelli Suprised the 2 isn’t much shorter. This is easier than he faced last time when running 2nd and he’s drawn to land right there. EW go all day here and he can win. The 4 will look for a run into the back and he will sustain strong run home. Any luck and he’s one to watch late at good odds. The 6 wins if he leads. Best dog in the race. He will however need to hold out some cutters outside him so letting him go this time but certainly a chance. The 2 the best EW play. Market Market
