Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 29, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 5 Charos Max and No. 8 Mick the Magpie The 5 will step fast here and will be suited by the straight start and shorter trip. The 8 is the best dog with the worst box for him but he has a bit on these and can show speed to cross. Don’t dismiss him. Race 7 No. 5 Perfect Kuna and No. 1 Agent Eleven The 5 is a weapon and showed his engine last time with a strong win right on the line. Can win from anywhere if he’s close enough. Good dog when clear running is presented. The 1 will lead and hard to catch if allowed to get away in front. Can run some time too and goes well here. Race 9 No. 3 Rethink It and No. 4 Luke’s Coal The 3 can step quickly and does most times at this track. The map says she gets all the room she needs and leads here. It will give the 4 muster room and he’s a class runner in this. Raced much tougher dogs and gets a huge grade drop. Race 10 No. 3 Shian Pedro and No. 8 Indian File This is intriguing. Put it this way…..if the 3 steps his best and then finds the lead solo at the first turn, he will quite literally blow these into kingdom come. He is however highly enigmatic, moody and completely unpredictable. He’s that much faster than these though. He will win by panels or he will run last. The 8 is unreliable as well here and saves her best for Northam these days but the field is limited outside the 3 so it gives her a chance to cross and score. Possibly the 2nd best dog in this race yet the 3 could beat her by a day if he wants to. That’s how strange this race will be. Race 11 No. 7 El Salvador and No. 3 Idle Awhile The 7 will look to swish over here and is racing well for the new kennel lately. Has form at the trip and can give these a bit to think about. The 3 comes off a fall but it didn’t look too bad and he’s a good box dog who will try and find the top early. Hard to catch if he gets away. Race 12 No. 1 All About Kuna Boxed to win. Map is perfect and only has to come out half decent here to muster straight on to the arm and put these away. Winner only start of the red and should make it 2 from 2. Market Market
