Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 27, 2023August 27, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 9 Lenny Coaster Likely to start in race 4 but would be better suited here iff an inside draw. Box beat her last week but still went ok and will improve again here. Look for a start from boxes 1-4 Race 4 No. 9 Lenny Coaster and No. 8 Commander Mack The 9 will start in this with the early scr if she doesn’t get the run in race 1 (see above) Can figure in this as well if she gets the current 4 box vacant. Old mate in 8 has his draw again. We know what we get. Musters up and needs the start right to determine how close. EW again as usual and he should be in the finish. Race 5 No. 1 Cash Key and No. 7 Full On Frankie The 1 will go fast here and should hold up. Sticks on strongly when he gets it to himself and hard to get past in this grade. The 7 will go well if she can offset the draw and get into striking spot up the back. Goes well track and trip and this easier than recent starts. Look for her late. Race 6 No. 6 My My My and No. 7 Flash As One The 6 was desperately unlucky last week. Went to go for the arm and checked then badly strung up trying to get around a pest inside her after which all birds had flown. Racing better than it looks and can go well. The 7 is ultra consistent and will again muster up early out wide and he just sticks on the rest of the way. Can hit the frame at odds again Race 8 No. 6 Georgia Flash and No. 4 Comet Bay Katie The 6 just needs to get the start right. If she nails it and finds the top early, they will be hard pressed catching her. Knocked out of it last week when looking for the arm. Can win if she leads this time at odds. The kennel mate might be the one to stop her in 4. A good box dog on most occasions, she will go fast as well and be hard to reel in if she gets the front. Keen the 6 however at the odds. Race 9 No. 3 Small Demeanour Another we need to step here and give himself a look at the arm. Can run time when he gets it and does his best work in front. Not much pace outside him so gets every Hope here to come out running and lead all the way. Settling just off the speed is ok as well. Good show. Race 10 No. 8 Vanda Violet The best boxed runner of the century here. Loves the outside and can go quickly at box rise and stay out of trouble. Will be right where she wants to be in the middle of the track and is the one to beat here. Should justify the short quote. Race 12 No. 7 Extremely Smooth and No. 3 Bad Influence The 7 is close and while he’s better inside, this map isn’t entirely bad. He could punch up out wide and again hit the frame at a quote. Racing well. The 3 likes this trip and should go close to leading if she steps. Will go low 16 and that won’t be run down here. Danger. Market Market
