Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on August 28, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 2 No. 7 Eternal Fun Better boxed out wide here. He’s a big boy who can muster up hard and while he has only won once, this is much more suitable and gets his chance now. Will take some stopping. Race 3 No. 4 Shady Fun Another who likes it here. Comes off a good 2nd last week and shows good speed in his races. Will again step and show pace and will look for an early arm. They won’t catch him in this if he gets it. Big show. Race 4 No. 7 Kingsbrae Huxley Mixing his trips but this is clearly his best distance. Will begin fairly then rush up out wide where he sustains a good run home. Gets a nice map here to assist that and can hit the frame EW. Race 5 No. 7 Incredible Aura Doesn’t win out of turn but getting double figures but this is somewhat easier than his recent runs and he does have a victory over Dozer Can Browse here. Will hop across to the fence early and keep finding the line and can surprise this time. Place heavy go. Race 6 No. 1 My Dream and No. 2 Warm Regards The stayers go round here and while this fav will be hard to beat, I’m not totally convinced this will be her track. If she handles it, she wins. The 1 can stay and spring an upset here. Will keep coming the whole way and can hit top 2. The dog in 2 is the big question mark. Steps up to this trip for the first time and will lead a long long way. If she gets the distance, they won’t get near her. Small field but interesting race. Race 7 No. 4 Entry Level The old mate again placed to give a sight. Loves his 297m racing here and handles all boxes. Good 2nd last start in decent time and this is no harder this week. Just needs a clear passage. EW all day with any luck. Race 8 No. 2 Jacopo and No. 5 Burner Flash The 2 is ready to surprise here. Reserves his best for this circuit and gets easier company this time. Does his best work when he leads and he could go with the red early here. The 5 is another who saves his best for Northam. Yet to miss the frame here from all 5 starts and can offset middle draws. He’s a chance. Race 9 No. 4 Stevie Monelli, No. 6 Starlight Gina and No. 1 Something Fun I want to take this fav on this week. Keen to play a couple of dogs EW. The 4 was one of the biggest wins at Northam I’ve seen. Came right around the field and ran down a strong dog. Clear run and she won’t miss a place and can win. Best bet to hit top3 today. A couple to save and also put in exotics. The 6 is over the odds again and will stun these. Musters up quickly and fitter this time. The 1 will again show up early and drive quickly into the first turn. Goes better than most think and was good in his heat and also had a good box 1 record. Fav needs to rocket out here and that may not happen. Good race but the 4 is the main EW play of the race and day. Race 10 No. 1 Polygon Monelli and No. 3 Forge Monelli The 1 is well boxed but does want a step or two at box rise to the right. Has speed however and can lead these and even come off the arm if need be. The 3 was good last time and made ground again from mid race. Gets a nice map here and will be strong to the line with a clear run. Both solid shows. Race 11 No. 3 Sassy Blade She’s back to the happy place the mighty Sass. The scene of her last win when she descended from a mile back to win a heat of the Dale cup. Gets back to her right company here and will wind up strongly from mid race and drop on them if she’s close. Great EW hope. Market Market
