Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Tips Posted on March 4, 2023March 4, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 3 Romantic Flame and No. 8 West On Jilliby The 3 is a ridiculously silly price. We identified her when she first arrived and the kennel have handled her superbly and her run last week had flashing lights all over it. No Couch Surfers here. EW bird and ready. The 8 disappointed her supporters last week at odds when backed in. She’s a better dog off the track for mine and will show more here. You want doubles however before getting involved. Race 4 No. 5 Raised Went up a ridiculous quote early on in the week. Into a more correct price now. He needs to miss the start. The way he’s going lately however there is every chance this will happen. Super effort last week when he ripped ground off the fast winner to only go under by a short margin in fast time. The turns aren’t his strength but he’s getting around them better. Knockout blow can be delivered and EW play at least is worth a crack. Race 6 No. 5 Elite Machine Got the bold writing out and stamped a statement last week when dropping a 5.46 for a 29.59 win here. First run back from Victorian campaign and to put it simply, there is far too much between him the fav on prices here. This bloke can win this, he can win a Perth Cup. Top-two play a must at the odds and can give this a huge shake. Good contest coming up here with him and the fav. Race 7 No. 1 Couch Surfer The new Galaxy favourite after an astonishing performance last week at his 715m debut. Came from 2nd last early to make sustained ground to charge away in 41.83. Real deal. Will settle up closer this time and the clock will be getting a work out. If there is any doubt, we will find out this time as he faces a couple of handy stayers from the East, namely Moraine Suzie. However he has too many guns and just as many bullets and will be ready to deliver a staying show. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 3 Trending Yale Has Australian Cup heat form behind Mortified not beaten far in the process in a good effort. That alone makes her a huge show in this company but the draw and map will see her closer than usual. Hard to hold out. Race 7 No. 2 Plan Ahead and No. 4 Wheel And Go The 2 was superb effort in his heat coming from behind the pace to split the leaders late in a charging effort. Boxed to figure EW. The 4 put in a similar effort from well back. Hit the line hard winning in good style and goes fast time when given room to operate. Race 8 No. 6 Amron Dan and No. 4 Greysynd Shock The 6 should have gone close last week. It was a tough watch for punters as he was making a dais finishing run when stopped cold. Box is sticky, but he can offset that and go well on a place heavy basis at good odds. The 4 will appreciate the step up now and while he gets wide, he has pace here and can be hard to catch. EW saver. Race 10 No. 2 Zipping Crusader Gets his chance this time. Box is key and has put in some big runs here in the past so the track doesn’t bother him. Just needs to get up there a little sooner this time but he will get into his work quickly and be hard to hold out. Race 11 No. 8 Jigglypuff Getting into Bionic Polly territory now with the amount of chances she has been afforded. However the price is getting us again and the grade drop gives her every possible chance here. Her run last start against a very good dog showed enough to go again but she really can’t be given much more after this. EW and that’s it. WENTWORTH PARK Race 2 No. 7 Cartel Model With this fav needing luck to cross, that brings this girl into it. Her middle and last section are her best and if she can track into this up the back she will take some holding out late. Can hit the frame. Race 5 No. 2 Energizer Miss Boxed to give this a huge shake. Her last few have been terrific and she is hitting the line better than ever now. Can step and show early and if she is striking range turning, they are in trouble. Great show. Race 9 No. 2 Rothwell Chunk While he may be better boxed off the track, he can handle the inside draws and show up early here. If he settles forward this week he will take some stopping after some unlucky efforts his last few. Can go much better here. Market Market
