Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 6, 2024April 6, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 1 In Her Mood Huge show off the draw. Been plagued by bad boxes which have stopped her getting any chance. She can step, and she can stun these. Great EW bet and wins if she gets the start spot on. Race 2 No. 2 Bergelmir and No. 1 Fabs Max Potato Huge run from the 2 at Mandurah last week. Goes better here and boxed to go close off a great map. The 1 will smoke his usual pipe and he’s racing well right now. Don’t ignore him on the place heavy basis at least. Race 3 No. 4 Lady Dior and No. 7 Seriously Lush The 4 disappointed last week when she opted to stay wide when she could have taken the fence early. Better draw to do that here and will be running on strongly in this. The 7 needs to start getting the jump right. She can muster up fast here and hard to stop if she lands close or leads. Capable of winning this. Race 5 No. 7 Pudding Monelli and No. 2 Sneaky Emoji The Lew Dorsa final. Good strong field. The 7 is a big EW prospect in this. Goes well off the outside boxes and should have won his heat. Was a great effort to recover from the check and place. The 2 gets a good map here if he can avoid the red early. Sustained a strong run in his heat to place and gets the fence early here. Can drop big sections home and will be closing hard. Race 6 No. 8 West On Nugget Chasing as well as ever right now and has a super record over the track and trip. Strong win last week in good time and small field suits. Very hard to stop here. Race 7 No. 4 Bezzechi Goes close with likely scr of the kennel mate now. Coming off a fall but form prior was first class and he runs time when wound up which will happen here. Very hard to hold him out this time. Race 8 No. 7 Saige Tenniele and No. 8 Coulter Bale The 7 gets one last chance. Coming off a few weeks off, she could absolutely cane this field if she gets a look early. Her confidence has been down so hopefully the freshen has helped and she is back on song. If she gets to the arm at all, these can sort 2nd out between themselves. A lot of trust is needed however. The 8 now gets to a distance that will see him run on strongly. Been finishing his races off well over the sprint and could surprise at odds here. Race 9 No. 2 Hurricane Taylor Thought he won last week in what was a huge performance coming back to the sprint trip. One more hound and he was home behind the kennel mate. Back to 600m here, he looks the one and should get the job done with even luck. Race 10 No. 8 Timon Lane and No. 2 Sandy Basa The 8 has his box and a better effort last week shows he’s close to being back in his best form. If he’s close he’s hard to stop late. The 2 is getting better since arriving. Works home well in his races and was ok last week when checked several times in the run. Can improve here. THE MEADOWS Race 1 No. 6 Kiptum Race 2 No. 5 Upon Bale and No. 8 Cabao Jasper Race 5 No. 2 American Queen and No. 3 Piccolo Bale Race 6 No. 1 Binny Doo and No. 3 Redeemer Blue Race 7 No. 8 Crackerjack Aret Race 8 No. 4 Yachi Bale and No. 1 King Owen Race 9 No. 2 Slick Rambo Race 10 No. 2 Dotty’s Gift and No. 7 Pickled Piper Race 11 No. 4 Tully Luna Market Market
