Race 2 No. 3 Grass Patch

Well there is only one way to look at this. Either I’ve missed something not so obvious or this should be $1.04. Playing long odds on is bad practice in most cases at Northam unless you come across this scenario. Let’s be brutally honest here, if she steps and finds the arm, and she should, she will give these a beating like they have never had. Even over 297m. The price is a concern though because she really should be much much shorter. Should win. 

Race 4 No. 7 My Dream

Now this is a price more like it. Surprised she into doubles here considering most of these will struggle to hold her off if she gets half a look up the back. Seems to like this track as well and will be storming into this to hit the frame. EW player at the great quote. 

Race 7 No. 8 Madison’s Keys and No. 7 Fernando Fury 

The 8 will look to muster quickly down to the first turn and she gets her chance to cross here. If she leads that should check and mate. Watch the 7 on the big down grade here. A veteran who has been running around FFA company and finally gets the drop he needs. He can stun here if he gets a look first turn.

Race 8 No. 3 Sassy Blade 

The Sass, back to Northam for another go. With the rain around lately she gets right into this as she seems to excel when the tracks are wet. Even so, she is capable against this lot and did break 30 when pacing behind Refined here 3 starts back. Place heavy go and keep an eye on the weather. 

Race 9 No. 5 Terra Logic

The blow out hope of the day. Missed it last time here but got a lucky run through to place. Still needs to offset the tricky draw but she is capable of spearing out when she’s on and she shouldn’t be $41. A small EW spec for her against these. 

Race 10 No. 8 Roll With It and No. 5 Corrupted 

The 8 is where he wants to be here. Missed a run last time when meeting abandoned so should be fresh and ready to muster up quickly. If he leads then he is the one to catch. Don’t ignore the 5 this time. He will go much better now he’s seen the track and he can figure here. Not a strong race so gets his chance on best form. Will run on late. 

Race 11 No. 8 Hello I’m Bobby 

He’s close this bloke. Well drawn here and can roll down the outside to land in a striking spot. Sustains his run home and that will prove him hard to hold out late. Handles the track no problems and gets his chance off the box now. Into veteran status but still racing well.
