Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Tips Posted on June 4, 2023June 4, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 7 Sheriff’s Way and No. 5 Reed Time The 7 was well placed last time when the meeting was called off at Northam and gets a similar set up here off the wide draw. Can surprise if she steps her best. The 5 will do her usual. Flop out, get to the outside and descend again. Works for her most weeks in this grade and this is no harder than recent runs. Place heavy for her. Race 5 No. 6 Barefoot Wah Wah and No. 7 Commander Mack The 6 isn’t badly drawn here. If she steps, she has good muster and can lead these. That’s her best chance and she showed she is racing well last time at Northam. The 7 will get a nice run here but he must produce this time. He’s running out of chances but he is the best dog in the race when he’s on. One more time for him. Race 6 No. 8 Bad Influence Back to the 380 and that’s a plus. Draw isn’t great but he can offset it if he can hold a slot and cut loose through the back with a good turn of foot. Has ability and has won track and trip and look set to go well this time. Race 9 No. 8 Rocky Balboa and No. 7 Space Station The Rock came out running last week and handled the turn perfectly and that’s all it took for him to go all the way breaking 16. The box isn’t his friend but over this trip he can step and cross and that would be it. The 7 continues to be costly but his best is absolutely up to these. As long as he doesn’t tangle with the 8, he can get into a striking spot quickly and win. Don’t dismiss him. Race 10 No. 1 Whiskey On Rocks and No. 8 Ice King The 1 has a superb record off the red box and gets the gun run here. Lacks dash but will hold enough to sit just off them and she drops a good last section. Hard to stop here. The 8 can surprise here. Goes fast and likes being off the track. There is a chance he gets the arm with a sweep around here and could be hard to catch running his 21.8/9s. Not hopeless. SANDOWN PARK Race 6 No. 2 Aston Sunset Getting on but still racing well and right up to these. Good stepper and can find herself close and with her solid 600m form, she will be there closing late for a top 2 finish with any luck. Race 7 No. 8 Reality Mask Doesn’t win a lot but if ever he is to break through again, this is it. Runs on strongly and beaten into 2nd by a more than handy one last week off a similar draw. Small field suits perfectly and gets his chance to hit the top 2 slots. Race 8 No. 4 Majestic Jay Under rated dog who performs on all tracks and trips. Musters up quickly and sticks on very well every time. Has raced well against much stronger dogs than this and is over the odds here to place top 2. Expect a forward showing. Market Market
