Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 3, 2023July 3, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 2 Royal Fun Her form says no. Actually it says not much at all. Don’t let that deter you though because she has had genuine excuses her last couple. She is more than capable of spearing out and finding the arm here. If she held it first turn solo, she holds it all the way and scores. Race 4 No. 1 Something Fun and No. 2 Illusive Mac The 1 finally has her box and grade to score here. Has a good turn of foot when she steps and this is the easiest company she’s faced in some time. The 2 doesn’t win ever. Yet she is always there with her good box manners. Her problem her whole career is that she is only tiny at 23kgs and gets knocked around easily amongst dogs. If she clears then she can go well. Race 5 No. 2 Buster Moon and No. 6 Firehouse Mac The 2 can surprise here off a good draw. Has had a string of bad boxes yet still gone well regardless and this is winnable. Can land close here and give a sight at the end. The 6 is another who is consistent and sneaks under more radars than low flying planes. Rarely wins but always around the frame and can do so again at odds. Been racing slightly better dogs so don’t dismiss entirely. Race 6 No. 3 Westdale Dave and No. 4 Dozer Can Browse The 3 has come back super for Tori Cook. Progressively getting better this time in and was unlucky last time when he tried to muster through traffic but copped a few clips before rallying late. If he can lead here it should be curtains. The 4 is a silly price here. May lack the dash over this short trip but her last win here was huge and can’t be dismissed with any luck. Big quote EW. Race 9 No. 4 Bazinga Boy Monster quote and he’s right in the deep end now but he’s far from out of this. Ultra consistent here at Northam and can show speed or come from off the arm. Vacant outside only helps and he could capitalise in some possible early speed trouble here. Top 2 spec. Race 10 No. 2 Keira Spolly Has an unusually shocking record off boxes 1 and 2 considering she rails well. Has won all her races from squeeze draws which her early pace has been put on show. Can lead here and she is another who can hold the arm first turn and that should be it. Start critical but this is her chance in easier company. Race 11 No. 4 Guess Why and No. 8 Sammy Can Browse A couple of regulars to take this fav on who is having trouble with the trip lately. The 4 has been racing far superior dogs to these and only has to get avoid a roadblock or two who will be nuisance value to find a spot early. Will come on from there and be awfully hard to stop. The 8 will rush down the outside here early looking to cross. Another who has to avoid trouble that will ensue if caught outside the wrong dog but if she does, she can get right away here. Super effort last time and can go close here. Market Market
