CANNINGTON

Race 1 No. 8 West On Cobra and No. 3 Liberty Pop 

The 8 is a good EW hope here is he steps better. Well boxed and can improve. Look for the 3 to try and lead. Low 16 is on if it does. That will win this. 

Race 3 No. 7 Coppy Nipper

Gets his chance now. Will look to spear over for the arm here and gets away if he does with a sub 22 run. Been racing tough company. This is his best chance to date. 

Race 5 No. 7 Armatree Arrow 

While an inside draw would have been better, he is racing well and beginning super off this start. Will come out again and only has to cross to be hard to beat. Don’t dismiss him here. 

Race 6 No. 1 Dusty Deluxe 

Doesn’t look like he can stay yet so the drop back here is ideal. Boxed to push up and only needs to settle forward to be a player at the end. A few suspect 600m dogs and commitment types here will also assist his claims. 

Race 7 No. 7 Space Station and No. 6 Luke’s Coal 

The 7 is a great price here. Stiff last time when making a wrong choice before turning. Will muster up here and put himself in it. The 6 flew here two starts back. A clean step and repeat will see him hard to beat with his 15.8 run. 

Race 8 No. 10 Big If 

If he secures a run off an inside box, consider him. Needs to lead and could do so off the right draw here. Check scratchings. 

Race 11 No. 6 Ultimate Command

Better drawn off and gets that here. Will go fast out wide and if he can find the arm at any stage he should go all the way. Can win from off the arm as well. This looks a suitable assignment for this bloke. 

THE GARDENS

We have 5 heats of the 715. The best stayers have landed here to tackle the this series and a crack at $500,000 in prize money.  A couple of good shows and smokies to take a look at. 

Race 4 No. 7 Zipping Whiskey and No. 3 My Margarita 

The 7 won well here last time and is suited again. The 3 the best roughie of the night if she stays close.

Race 5 No. 5 Downtown Zipper

Very promising staying type taking the big step up here. Dominates over the middle trip. Big threat. 

Race 6 No. 8 Korda and No. 2 You Know Tree

The 8 looks for the arm and stays all day. Hard to beat. The 2 like this circuit and can stay. One at odds. 

Race 7 No. 7 Nangar Rocket 

Will go fast early and getting stronger. Will runs these along if he gets away and take catching. 

Race 8 No. 3 She’s Precocious and No. 8 Ritza Piper

The 3 is a strong Qld stayer who will keep hitting the line. Don’t ignore at big odds. The 8 is a gun little stayer and she has gone well here before.
