Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 14, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 6 Geoff Woke Up Whilst his record off the box isn’t good, his best step and the map could determine a better outcome here. Just needs to come out a little better and use the room he will be given to muster over and he can win this with a low 16. EW at least. Race 2 No. 6 Rainbow Road and No. 7 Earl Of Vase Looking for these two to rush over quickly here in this moderate affair. The 6 has a good record track and trip while the 7 drops back to his better trip over this short journey. Expect forward showings from both. Race 3 No. 7 West On Roylyn Strong win last time and the draw here is spot on for him with the 6 to carve a track over for him early. 3rd up from a let up now and ready to improve again and only has to bring his good step to give these plenty on the arm. Race 5 No. 1 Close Contact Desperately unlucky when resuming last start after he hopped out quickly only to be iced going into the back and flattened. The move to box 1 much better here and expect him to again show pace and give these plenty to catch. Gets in well at the grade here too. Big show. Race 6 No. 8 Ultimate Command and No. 3 Sozin’s Azzuri The 8 is racing out of his skin at the moment and this box is perfect for him. Handles the corner start every time and has good dash off the mat. Could swoop around early here and be very hard to stop. The 3 will again come out running and if he can’t cross the red, he can be the first to sit on it and that would be good too if he doesn’t check off at any stage as he will put it away on the way home with its steady last section. Race 8 No. 7 Joe The Lion and No. 3 Redhead Rider The 7 is going far better than it looks even though he won last start. He could come out running here again and get over to spot and he doesn’t have to lead to win. EW go for him. The 3 will improve here. Stepped fast last time but was collected by Vanda Violet who collects anything outside her which he was. Could find the arm if the red misses it again. Big price to find out. Race 9 No. 5 Jumpy Keeping This bloke having his 2nd run for a kennel that gets them going and is under rated. He needs to bring his box manners but has acceleration and if he can offset the middle and find the arm then it’s over here. Great show if it all goes to plan at box rise. Race 11 No. 1 All Over Katie Boxed to shake this to the ground. Has superb map inside a wide running dog in 2 who has speed and ducks off into the back. She just needs to be there to capitalise and she can. Strong winner here 4 back and repeat will score again. Market Market
