Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 5, 2024April 8, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 7 Crossing and No. 1 Tudor Light The 7 had his 2nd run back from a spell last week and was good. Steps up in trip now and will go close to leading here. Hard to beat. The 1 will do well off this draw and she’s racing ok for her. Sticks on strongly over the trip and can figure off the good box. Race 3 No. 2 Maximum Carnage and No. 6 Simply Presto A race of few chances. The 2 was good off a let up last Friday and repeat sees him go close. Trials fast so won’t be caught if he gets the arm. The 6 is limited but many of these are. He steps quickly most starts here and could give a sneaky show in front. One at odds EW. Race 4 No. 7 Spooky Hook and No. 1 Robotnik The 7 will accelerate quickly here. Fast dog who runs quick sections and won’t be for catching if he crosses. The 1 will be the run on component if anything goes wrong with the fav. Can rush home well and small field ideal. 7 looks the one however off a clean step. Race 5 No. 6 Sunset Ali and No. 5 Slingshot Cooper The 6 out where he wants to be now and will get his room to operate here. Stays wide and should be able to sweep into it early. Will give them the business if he gets that arm. The 5 is winning soon. This could be a bridge too far but he will be a price and his draw is quite kind here. He could actually lead. Worth a small EW spec and follow after this. Race 6 No. 7 Rubidium and No. 5 Mashle Wave The 7 has come back well and seems to enjoy this circuit. She will look to rush up and find the arm. Sticks on well regardless. The 5 is the one who could provide the resistance here. Good early-splitter who will spear and accelerate to the arm. Great win last week and a repeat sees him score. Race 7 No. 4 Sunset Frazier and No. 8 Molfetta Cruise Time for the 4 step up and step out!! Missed the start last week but his run was enormous in the final of the Good Friday cup. Expect to see him find the front here and quickly. The last bit might test if anything. That’s where the 8 needs to be kept safe. He is very under rated and well boxed and no doubt will be descending late here. Keep him in calculations and save EW. He won’t disappoint. Race 8 No. 8 Mad Steel The 8 was an excellent effort last week. Found some traffic but still closed off strongly in his best run for some time. Handles wide draws and is close to a win. Race 9 No. 2 Jimmy’s Jet Not a betting proposition but he just wins. Some incredible bad luck is the only thing that can stop him. Race 10 No. 1 Nifty Ned and No. 2 Pretty Hot Absolute lottery these 652s at the moment. Going to spec the 1 here. Big boy who will be suited by the track and if he gets up there early he can run home hard. The 2 can bring her VIC middle form to this trip and lead all the way. Has a lot of ability and is racing well when she steps and does like it here albeit the 488s. Tread with caution in this race. Race 11 No. 8 Alden Monelli and No. 4 West On Smoky The 8 was slightly disappointing last time in the run home but he’s better than that and the small field perfect. Box is as well and can hit top two in this easily. The 4 will present quickly and has good muster. Good run last time making ground and he could find the arm this time and that would see him a major threat. Race 12 No. 8 Tweak Freak The 8 looks for the lead here and that’s where her best work is done. Has been here and gone ok in the past and has a cut of class about her. Market Market
