Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 23, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 8 Turbo Jordy A few things in her favour here. The box for starters is perfect but it’s the drop in company that is most appealing. Been racing better dogs than this and will look ominous if she steps here. Race 2 No. 8 Aztec Kid Old mate back to a 275 here. He could destroy these…..if he wants to. Him wanting to is the great mystery though. Any amount of ability but moody as it gets. He comes and leads then it’s over by panels. He doesn’t, and it’s an ugly watch, especially if he has to go past a leader. Trust is needed, and a stack of it. He is just quicker than these and anything over $3.50 is a go. Race 3 No. 8 All Over Kaisha Another who can simply win if it all goes right early. Very fast dog who can deliver sizzling sectionals, she has not been anyone’s friend lately who have supported her at the short quotes. However, if she is to break through over this trip, then this is it. She will get me once and that’s in this. She won’t get me again if she goes under. Race 5 No. 6 Moment To Boogie Stunned at his price here. The dogs around just aren’t stepping at the present and that means he can sweep over and land right there. Talented dog who was good last week despite not getting the arm and he will show up here if he comes out running. Great EW play. Race 6 No. 2 Mohican Mistress The Great Western final and the 2 can win this. Came out perfectly off the red last week and held them off in good time for a slow deck and a repeat will see her go close again. Beating out the red the first job then it becomes winnable from there. EW play at the good price. Race 7 No. 8 Good Odds Buzz He’s much better suited out wide over this trip for mine. Has superb muster and takes a little nudge off at the first turn here so he is where he wants to be. Some speed underneath so start important but he can match it here and looks a major threat. Race 8 No. 8 Launch Control and No. 7 Elliptical The usual suspects go around again here and the box draw changes things up. The 8 will smoke his pipe til it’s empty before cutting loose with his run. There could be trouble here which will aid him immensely but it will also help the 7 who I think is just as adept off an outside draw and could sweep around here. Both super chances at the EW quotes. Race 9 No. 3 Dusty Deluxe and No. 2 Ash The Flash Playing for some luck here with the 4 going quick and holding up the outside division. The 3 is a huge show if he can show up somewhat to land right there first turn. Will sustain the run home hard. The 2 is up in company here but she’s racing so well that a spec at the big odds is a go. She could surprise with a little room up the back. Place heavy both dogs. Race 10 No. 2 Litchfield Last chance over this trip. Very disappointing last week when she stepped well but showed no drive to the post the first time and dropped back. She is better than that and could lead this time and that’s when we see her best. Big quote but worth one more go to hit top 2. Race 11 No. 1 Armatree Arrow and No. 6 All Spiked Up The 1 has his box. All he has to do is hold the checks up early with a quick step and the wider runners outside them can him slip away up the back. Dry track would be even better if we could get it. The 6 was again his barnstorming run home self last time and he is well drawn wide here. Just needs to make that run sooner and he can again hit the frame at good odds. Place heavy for him as per usual. Market Market
