Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 29, 2022April 29, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 4 No. 5 West On Spice One of the few who can capitalise on some dogs not running this out strongly. Did enough in a mix up race last week and has gone 22.5 in the past which would bolt this in. EW player here. Race 5 No. 3 West On Finn, No. 6 Stone Cold Augie and No. 8 Bragger Deen The Mandurah Derby final and it’s anyone’s race. The 3 will be hard to beat if he steps. That’s the key here. On the arm and he will be hard to stop. The 6 was superb in his heat and made up many lengths behind a strong dog. The 8 will improve and spear around early here. He can find enough to figure from last week as well. Win bet 3, EW on 6 and 8. Race 6 No. 5 West On Sadie and No. 8 Incredible Pinto First heat of the Oaks. The 8 is under rated and well drawn and she can surprise here. If she lands handy which she can, she will take a lot of stopping. The 5 is racing well and can reel off good sections when clear. Box the only concern but can offset. Both EW goes here. Race 7 No. 5 Bionic Polly and No. 7 West On Fizz The 5 comes to Mandurah for the first time and will be suited by the track. If she finds the fence early, she will run home hard and be in the placings at odds. She’s had many chances but never one here. The 7 has poor form on paper but she’s much better than that. Unlucky last week and can show up here with a clean getaway. Both at odds here and EW goes. Race 8 No. 2 West On Cup Had she drawn box 8, she would have been a special for mine. Can still do something here though and only needs some space into the back and she will start her strong run home. Very talented and will go close with any luck. Race 11 No. 4 Sitizano Rocks and No. 6 Falcon Nine The 4 was superb behind Shirakaba last week and he’s racing well. Looks a huge threat here and will make a fast run once balanced and look ominous. The 6 only has to find his old box manners to become the one to beat. Has a very fast win here and if he gets the arm it’s over. ANGLE PARK Race 5 No. 8 Wizardry Things Was quite good last week behind Mallee Magic and well boxed here to show up at odds. Has a good middle and last section and is a place heavy player here with a clear run. Race 6 No. 3 New Year Tears and No. 4 Lashes Monelli The SA distance championships. The 3 will be hard to beat here and while he has a flat spot in the run, he can still give these a lot to think about. Great run in the heat. The 4 will be ready now and she has the form at this track and trip. Made ground last week and will strip fitter again and can run time when right. Both can hit the podium here. Race 8 No. 4 Kinrock Star and No. 1 Auspicious Queen The 4 is the next big thing in SA chasing. What he did last week shouldn’t have been possible for a dog so young and while his box manners and early speed aren’t there, he has one serious engine and only needs an uninterrupted run to win. Won’t miss the placings with a trouble free passage . Huge huge show!! The 1 will improve and is very hard to run down when she gets the arm. Great box 1 stats and has raced the better Vic dogs. Trainer is astute as they come and great saver. 4 the main play though and best bet #1. Race 9 No. 8 Weblec Mist Huge effort last time and only needs a clear run to win here. The box the only issue but the small field will help offset that and if she can just land close, will reel off big fractions to hit top 2 for sure. Race 11 No. 2 Midnight Tracker Boxed to give this a shake. Takes some time to get into his work but this field isn’t strong and he is drawn to stick to the fence and go through the gears to run his 30.6. Shouldn’t miss the top 2 spot. Race 12 No. 1 Lala Hibiscus Best bet #2. Has put some huge performances in recently and if she steps cleanly here, will take a power of stopping. Boxed to win and if she is within striking range up the back, this is over. She simply looks the other best play all night. WENTWORTH PARK Race 3 No. 3 Lala Kiwi Let scratching of box 1 means she should find the top here. Doesn’t get run down when she leads and is a star performer. It’s hers to lose. Race 5 No. 1 Zippy Tesla and No. 7 Burnt Ends The 1 is boxed to get his chance here. Just needs to stay handy with a lot of pace in 2,3,4. Has the gear change and last section to run over these. The 7 is a huge smokie if the trouble occurs. Strong and versatile, he can run on into the placings if he gets a crack here. Race 6 No. 6 Photo Man and No. 5 Billy Creek Taking on Wow She’s Fast. Place heavy plays on 6, who is very good and has a lot of talent and 5, who regularly runs into the money here and will do again. Fav hard to beat but these two are genuine contenders if she puts a foot wrong. Race 8 No. 3 Vice Grip Strikes the easiest semi and only has to replicate last weeks run to win this. Box manners, early speed and strength. He has all the tools and only has to step cleanly to win. Race 9 No. 9 Indy Matilda and No. 3 Doonan The 9 gets a run here from box 2 and she comes right into this. Will show dash from the inside and if she leads she will be hard to catch. The 3 was big last week and a similar effort will see him in the finish. EW both dogs here. Race 10 No. 2 Daph’s Ascend and No. 5 Do It The 2 gets her chance to lead here and she’s a much better dog on the arm. If she holds the inside she is the one they have to beat. Watch for improvement off the 5. He can take runs and has performed well in top grade before. Can surprise here. WENTWORTH PARK PREVIEW Eight Million Dollar Chase semi-finals highlight the card with two heats of the Group 3 Gold Cup supporting. We will take a look at each race and narrow the chances down on a very competitive and outstanding race night. Race 1 First heat of the Gold cup. Only a few genuine hopes with the 5 Super Estrella looking to lead throughout and 3 Zipping Virginia returning from WA knowing this track well. 1,2,4 place chances. 5-3-1-4 Race 2 Heat 2 of the cup. Only 3 dogs will figure here. The 6 Zipping Kansas needs to show the boom on him is real. Ridiculously short but should win. 1 Hank The Hustler and 5 Stanley Road the only possible threats. Should be daylight to 4th. 6-5-1-2 Race 3 First semi of the MDC. The key scratching of Casual Glance means Lala Kiwi should now find the front and podium. Superstar bitch who is unstoppable when out on the arm. Dangers in 2,7,9 but she looks the one now. 3-7-2-9 Race 4 A much more open heat with the 3 Miss Ezmae flying at the moment. If she finds the top it’s all over. The 5,7,8 all hopes to knock her over if she doesn’t hold up early. First turn critical here and not really a betting race. 3-7-5-8 Race 5 Great semi. The 1 Zippy Tesla has his box and if he holds up early, will be in the finish. The 3 Good Odds Cash is a recent Easter Egg place getter and she is airborne. She can lead and win but has to get around the 2 who is a very wide runner and a good beginner, as well as the 4 who has a blistering turn of foot. The 7 Burnt Ends a big smokie if there is trouble. 1-7-3-2 Race 6 The 4 Wow She’s Fast was run down last week but expect her to atone if she finds the top again. The 6 Photo Man is a genuine danger if the 4 makes an error. Has a stack of talent and only has to offset the box. The 8 has ability but better drawn in and the 5 will be running on. 6 and 5 the EW plays for some value. 6-4-5-8 Race 7 The 4 She’s A Pearl set to continue her winning ways. Should lead throughout. If there is a slight concern, it’s the reserve getting a start from box 6, who is a good beginner and the 5 also has a blistering turn of foot. Favourite would have to do something out of character to lose however. 4-2-1-9 Race 8 The WA hitman, no 3 Vice Grip, grabs probably the easiest semi here. Ran down Wow She’s Fast last week and flying at the present. A risky beginner inside him, a dog who is hopelessly out of his depth outside him, all means he just steps, musters up and puts them to the sword. He will beat some of these a very long way. The 1 the obvious danger but toe to toe won’t hold him. 6,7,9 the only other place hopes but the 3 would have to make an error to miss the win here. 3-6-7-1 Race 9 The 9 Indy Matilda comes into box 2 and she’s in this now. Can show pace and run time and well drawn here. The 3 Doonan was huge last week as was 5 Louis Rumble and 6 Boston Garden. Only 4 hopes in this semi for mine. 9-5-6-3 Race 10 The 2 Daph’s Ascend has been knocking in the door and gets a great draw to take the last semi. The 6 Big Opal Rocks was superb first up here and will find more again. The 3 and 5 the only other chances. 2-6-5-3 Market Market
