RACE 4 No.8 Get The Idea

Definitely a tougher task however this one has been going very well in Queensland without being able to land the major end of the prize. His three starts this time in work have registered a one length 4th first up before consecutive narrow defeats the latest over a mile when running on well. Up to the longer trip suits and I’m happy to play each-way at the double-figure odds available.

RACE 6 No.2 Malkovich

Speed machine who comes into Saturday’s race off a 6 week freshen up however importantly has had a recent barrier trial to keep his fitness levels in check. That barrier trial produced a 8 ¼ length win at Randwick running his rivals into another postcode. He’ll lead here, control the race and prove far too speedy.

RACE 8 No.10 Brookspire

Very good fresh horse who goes into Saturday’s Group 3 Hawkesbury Crown first up from a break. She bolted in first up on the Kensington track last campaign (heavy) winning again off a freshen three starts later, her entire prep was very consistent rounding out with a close up fourth on Magic Millions Day at the Gold Coast. Prepped up nicely with a recent barrier trial placing looks all set to score first up once again.
