Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on April 22, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 2 No. 1 Initial It and No. 8 Suntory Lass Damien Crudeli with 5 of the 6 starters here. He will win the race but we need to isolate with who? The 8 has been racing better dogs than this lately and she’s been wanting the outside more and more lately. Looks the one. The 1 wants the outside as well but he can surprisingly handle an inside box. He steps cleanly and can show pace and a clear passage will see him strike late. Race 3 No. 8 Rapido Storm and No. 4 Bush Martini The 8 can spear around here and he’s a much more efficient chaser on the arm. He can run some time too and will be hard to catch if he leads. The 4 was enormous last week and one poor decision cost her dearly. Damo is now on top of her injuries and she can do something at odds here despite the box. Race 4 No. 4 Nice Image and No. 1 West On Spice Not sure how this lot are going to go knocking over the 4 here. Has panels on this field on his recent form and his early speed will again see him set the arm alight. No FFA dogs chasing this week and should really lead throughout. Should he make an unlikely error, the 1 can surprise. Has a fast win here and gets the gun draw. Can punch up early and may even sit behind the 4 to make it interesting. Realistically it’s the 4 then daylight though if he brings his best. Race 5 No. 3 Throttle Serious youngster. Keep this short and simple. If he handles the track and the corner start, he will blow these away. A fast win is in store soon and I have zero doubt we are looking at a future top line star. He’s still green but very very talented. The 1 isn’t beginning and the 7 has a tough draw. The 3 is an EW bird with an ounce of luck. Race 6 No. 8 Scout About Love this dogs turn of foot off the mat. The only thing that may be an issue is his first corner start here but he has the box to give him enough room to offset that. Look for him to accelerate at box rise and hopefully finds a striking early spot. Race 7 No. 5 Bubbles Away and No. 6 Sunset Louie The 5 can lead here but does have the SA visitor to contend with in 3 who has an electric turn of foot at box rise. The 5 May be suited a touch more though to this tricky start. If he leads he can give a sight. The 6 will be looking for runs up the back but if he gets them, he can run home hard and get into the finish. Race 8 No. 7 Little Miss Ava, No. 8 Incredible Pinto and No. 2 Shirakaba Couple at big odds here. The 7 is racing well and comes into this after a couple of good runs here. She can race up on the pace and stick on well. The 8 is under rated and will step quickly and sweep around here to try and cross. Can go much faster than her best and will be over the odds. The 2 gets one more chance if she is EW odds. No excuses off the draw this week and needs to get handier into the back. Small specs on 7 and 8 and check the price of the 2 for a 3rd play. Race 11 No. 5 Turbo Fun and No. 4 Dancing Fun The 5 is coming out of the Good Friday cup and that form will stand up again here. He should also lead throughout barring bad luck. The kernel mate in 4 is always turning up. She can run another good race here and even fill the quinella spot. Main go 5 and save 4. GEELONG Race 6 No. 4 Hank The Hustler and No. 1 Boom Lateral The 4 is a very silly price here and he’s getting right back into form. Winner of his only start here track and trip, he’s a strong stayer who will look ominous with a clear run. The 1 is promising. He has the box to land handy and can stay. Was good last start behind Collinda Lady and will go close again. Race 8 No. 7 Emani Bale and No. 1 Wilmington Bale The 2022 Geelong cup and the 7 won her heat at $31 for us and I don’t know why she is again being disrespected in the market. Yes she gets back but she unleashes a long sustained run home and loves racing here. She can run the race of her life here to get into the finish and is a great EW bet to hit the podium at least at monster odds. The kennel mate in 1 gets the gun map here and while he is young and still learning, he beat a quality field last week and showed signs of a very good dog. Small save there. The 7 is best bet at the price. Not because she stands out, but because there won’t be a better EW play at the odds if she gets a look. Race 10 No. 3 Aston Shine and No.4 Mepunga Mustang Looking for the 3 to get back to his best here. Went ok around the cup heat last week but will far better suited here around the one turn and is a big price for a dog who is ultra consistent. The 4 is the one to beat and if he gets half a look he can blow these away. 12 wins from 25 starts says it all and carves the clock up when he’s on. Big show. Market Market
