Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on October 5, 2022October 5, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 3 Makuru Very talented performer resuming after injury. Has trialled well enough to be winning this and is the only dog happy to come off the arm and run on. Gets the fence early here if he doesn’t ping and that could then play into his hands. EW with caution first up but can figure. Race 5 No. 6 Calico Joe Progressive type who has surprising turn of foot after the start and through the middle section. Wants the fence but he is quite adept in a field and this map isn’t overly bad from the draw. Only has to offset it to be a podium player. Race 6 No. 6 Crypto Monelli He’s going better than his form shows for mine. Just not getting first turn luck. Can get it here. Good effort last week and he can get some room with a few left turners inside him here. Don’t dismiss him in this line up. Race 7 No. 7 Lupini Monelli and No. 6 Shadow Monelli Looking for the 7 to swish down the outside and land near the arm here. Clear running will see a sub 30 and a win. The 6 was unlucky last week when stepping well but getting caught up in the middle at the first turn. Vacant inside helps. Can improve here and run into this. Race 8 No. 5 Wynburn Burner Rejuvenated warrior who has won his last two in tremendous fashion and looks set to give another huge sight. Sublime here winning two back and going a PB early split. Can come from behind and usually does. New kennel has him racing well and he’s a threat here, a big one. Race 10 No. 4 Bella Sunset Her form says nope, but I wouldn’t be so quick to nope her here. She has had genuine excuses lately and all but got right there last time when trying to cross and getting poleaxed by a dog spearing off. A little luck into the back will change her chances immensely. EW go here. Race 11 No. 8 Roll With It and No. 7 Peanut Monelli The 8 has his box, we know that. He now needs to use it. Can show good dash and stay wide and his best does win this. Forget last time and give another chance in this line up. He should be winning. Don’t ignore the 7 completely here. Has more tricks than a Hogwarts show bag but isn’t racing that badly and can run into this at odds. Place heavy go for her. Race 12 No. 7 Youthful Spirit and No. 6 Scarlet’s Prince The 7 was super last week and showed that terrific mid race pace to run over the leader late and get it done. Well drawn again and a repeat sees her go close. The 6 is the surprise packet here. Stepping back in trip, he can run into this with any luck up the back and will take some holding out. Upset winner last start in a harder race over the 520m. GAWLER Race 4 No. 2 Strategise Costly last start when failing to muster off the inside and hold the arm. Back here to Gawler the key move and his last run here shows why. Will be a different dog here and while the field is small, it’s competitive but he is right up to these and will win if he goes around untouched. Race 5 No. 5 Muddle Puddle Sneaky one at odds here. Has a very good record at this track and rarely out of the money. Can offset this box and give a sight here considering he has been in some very tough races recently. Big EW go at the quote. Race 7 No. 3 Spring Bonnie and No. 4 Slim Sherman The 3 drawn closer in this time means she will get her chance to to find the arm or close to it and that makes her a main threat. Can run time and just needs to step this time. The 4 will go well if he finds the lure early and there is a chance he can. Goes well here and has early burn when he’s on. Don’t ignore. THE MEADOWS Race 7 No. 7 Money and Power Big price and should be but don’t be surprised if he runs a race here. Has performed real well against some good middle distance types and he will be running on hard here. Top 2 player with any luck at the first turn. Race 9 No. 1 Octavia Bale Boxed to give this a huge shake. Ran a ripper last Saturday in a very hard race and will find this far easier. Lacks a little early dash but the box should keep her close enough to get home late and go close here. Market Market
