Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 18, 2022August 18, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 7 No. 7 Wise Dohne Has won her only start here track and trip. Been going ok at Cannington and can spear out when she’s on. Expect her to be a force from the get go. If she can cross, she can win at odds here. Race 8 No. 7 Forward Scout and No. 6 Amy Junior The 7 was superb last start beating Robotnik. Can handle a wide draw and can come from anywhere. Will sweep around and look for prominent spot early. Hard to hold out from there. The 6 will be odds and her best would put her in this. She has form here and can show early dash and stick on. Don’t ignore her. Race 9 No. 4 Dido Belle Looking for her to spear out and get the arm here. Excellent last start off the same draw and is very hard to run down when she gets a solo lead. Start critical. Race 10 No. 7 Initial It and No. 8 Sitizano Rocks Couple resuming here again and while they both need longer, this race could get messy down on the fence and this would allow both dogs to sweep into this at odds. 7 is perfectly drawn while the 8 is versatile and can run time over the longer trips. Could sprint well here. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 8 Whizbang Betty and No. 5 My Catalina This is a final and while the favs are leading shows, these two are far from out of this. The 8 has a stack of ability and can deliver some big sections when she gets mobile. Clear run and she’s in this!! The 5 put in a super effort in her heat. Never left alone and kept coming. Only has to offset the box to get into this. EW players here. Race 7 No. 4 Bahrose and No. 5 Snapper Smith The 4 will win her share of races. Goes well here and can handle sticky draws. All but nailed Cash It In two starts back. A repeat goes close here. The 5 is a walking trick bag but can deliver some knockout blows when she winds up. Will start doubles and hit the line hard and has raced much tougher opposition. Race 9 No. 6 Boom Lateral and No. 7 Pechey’s Girl The 6 only has to turn up and he wins. Has superior staying form over this field and if he lands close, he will take too much stopping here. The 7 is as consistent as ever. Keeps turning up each week and will again be on the pace and sticking on. Race 10 No. 7 Weblec Flare Sublime effort last week for us when he pounced on the arm and gave them a drubbing. Getting better every week and can again cross from the 7 and give these stack to think about. Running time and can even come from off the arm. Hits top two here and huge show. Race 11 No. 2 Got No Bro and No. 8 Aston Pride The 2 is running out of chances but this is as winnable as it gets. Will be afforded every hope off the draw and must deliver tonight. Coming out of a very strong form race. The 8 is way overs here. Has a super record here and shouldn’t be doubles. Look for her to cross and give a sight. EW player. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 5 Fantastic Eddy The $3 that went up last night was quickly snapped into odds on. Tipping first starters or maidens in greyhound racing, well It’s nothing more than rolling dice. This field of maidens however will need to pull out 30.30 to knock this bloke over. It just doesn’t happen. The only thing that beats maidens, are usually themselves. That will be the case here. He only beats himself if he gets beaten. In saying that, you would be wanting $2 to get involved. Watch the market. Race 2 No. 1 Your Girl Airlie Kennel has a promising one here so while we are in a maiden mood, we will go again here. Trialled 30.89 Sunday morning and while that wins most maidens, she can go much faster as she got home in 12.86 after missing the start which isn’t like her. Boxed to go well first up. Race 3 No. 8 Woodside Brockie A fraction disappointing last week but box 8 will give him a chance to muster and get into this sooner. Has the talent and can reel off sections through the back that put him in striking spots. Give him one more chance to figure here. Race 4 No. 2 Closer To Rain and No. 7 Westar Aileen The 2 has an unstoppable set of sections when she is given room to move. Can wind up strongly and gets the gun map here. Clear running all that is needed. The 7 will win sooner rather than later and her effort last week was good. Can surprise here if she steps and gets over. The 2 is the main play however. Race 5 No. 2 Under Siege Outstanding run last week in a very tough race. She clearly is screaming for more ground again so this placement is puzzling. The run was that good however that she can’t go around here without a place heavy play. Has a barnstorming run home and the draw may just keep her that little closer to chime in late. Follow her later though as she goes over longer. Race 6 No. 7 Mr Ibrox Terrific effort from this bloke last week in a sprint race. Known as a stayer, he is handling the shorter trips well. Bundled up in the run to the first turn and pushed back to near last. Went through the gears and hit the line when clear. Small field suits better and this is easier. Can charge into this EW. Race 8 No. 6 Fantastic Dixie and No. 8 Howling Hoss Not sure if I’ve completely lost it here but we are going again on Dixie. She has that much ability that the price has to be a play. However she is nothing, if not world class at making sure she finds trouble then more trouble. If she actually finds clear running, she will win. She just needs to make better decisions. The 8 is well drawn and he can swish over and give a sight here. Hard to catch if he gets away and raced well around here track and trip. Race 9 No. 4 Captain Larry Two dog race. If he doesn’t knock the 8 over, he runs 2nd. The others aren’t in it. Has a stack of talent and while this fav is hard to roll, he will have to do everything right to hold the 4 out. Work your top two angles here around him. Race 12 No. 7 Spring Pony and No. 2 Basil Brush Rose The 7 was super last start and a repeat sees him right in this at a good quote. Went 30.78 and can go quicker. Racing well and can deliver again if he gets over with little fuss. The 2 can run on here and he’s working up to a win. Gets a good map here and if he lands handy, will take a power of holding out. Both solid EW shows here. Market Market
