Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 15, 2022August 19, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 3 Pad Up Elyse and No. 4 Blazing Joy The 3 only has to bring her best to be a force here. Her box manners lately have been steady but she can step and this is her company. The 4 doesn’t win many but it doesn’t get much easier than this and she gets her chance to score again. EW players these two. Race 5 No. 2 Express Malt and No. 1 Vegas City Well it would have to be one of the biggest grade drops I’ve seen with the 2 here over her last few starts. A regular FFA flyer now in a grade 5Y. Just 3 starts ago she was lining up against dogs who would be $1.01 in this. She has been beaten comfortably but if she is going to get back into the winners list, this is to be har race. The 1 is going to get a great run here and he can spring the upset if the 2 doesn’t produce. The 2s best wins. She just has to bring it. Race 6 No. 2 Corrina Gundi Her last couple have been without luck but a good draw and slightly easier company should see her back to a podium finish. Has a good overall record track and trip and can run the time to win this. Needs to get the start better. Will hit the line hard if she’s handy turning. Race 7 No. 3 Maximum Sarah The start critical here but if she gets it right and pounces on the arm, there is nothing in this that will run her down. Does her best work on the arm and still capable of running low to sub 22. This is the right grade and type of company she can put away if she steps. Race 10 No. 4 Teflon Dusty and No. 7 Casino Tux The 4 is enigmatic but can unleash a serious turn of foot when he cuts loose up the back. He can even show pace and when that happens and he finds the arm, it’s over. Just needs that clear easely run. The 7 can surprise here and can either come from back or get up there early. Will be a price and don’t dismiss. Race 11 No. 5 Kingsbrae Huxley and No. 3 Andre Andale The 5 continues to blow the start however even if he does that here, a slew of wide runners will give him his chance at the first turn. Is much better than his form it’s suggests. The 3 is getting on but still capable of pulling a run out. Sustains a strong run once his momentum is up and any luck will see him in the finish. ANGLE PARK Race 3 No. 3 Hoogley and No. 8 Spring Pony The 3 gave some handy dogs a drubbing recently at MB. He can show pace but can still win if he doesn’t lead. Strong and will enjoy this small field. Save on 8 who is perfectly boxed and was super last start running a PB behind a handy dog. Race 5 No. 1 Compulsory Hero and No. 6 Resurgence A couple at odds here. This fav has had a few cracks at this trip and it sees him right out. The 1 just needs to step better and use his box to be a force here. Will give a sight if he lands handy. The 6 can show pace and he has performed well over this track and trip a few times. He could sneak an early run here and be still there at the end. EW specs here on both. Race 6 No. 4 Capitulate and No. 6 Mepunga Grace The 4 can spear out most starts and with a notoriously slow box dog in 3, should carve over and look for the arm. Hard to catch if she gets it. The 6 is forgotten here and she went well in the straight track series and is just as adept around a corner. If she got clear running she could surprise here. Race 12 No. 1 Toby West Had he drawn 8 he would have been the bet of the year!! Can still handle the inside though and is stepping better these days. Has superb muster and can unleash to put himself where he wants to be by the first turn. Will sustain a big run home. Very hard to beat!! Market Market
