Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on May 15, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 5 Vegas City Giving him another chance after a slow start made his job impossible last start. His best would be winning this and only has to bring his best box manners to offset this draw and figure. Race 5 No. 6 Hit It Gypsy and No. 5 Honey Hush Plummets in grade here and does not have to contend with the mighty Roll Up today. Can be tardy early but accelerates quickly and only needs a clear run to the first turn to put these away. Keep an eye on the 5 who will also enjoy the easier company and can step quickly. Has a fast PB here and can figure if the 6 strikes any bother. Race 8 No. 1 Little Righteous A change of kennel bought immediate results last start when she rounded up the field after her usual slow start. A notoriously bad beginner, she will walk out and make no use of the box at all as she will look to go around the field again. Will be at big EW odds but she can hit top 2 with a repeat of last start. Race 10 No. 7 One Chance and No. 3 Express Malt Aptly named as that is what the 7 gets here. One more chance. Her best would see her muster up, cross and win easily and the start is critical here again. May be better suited to an inside draw but can handle wide boxes in this company. Save on the 3 who will look to lead here and hold the 7 out. Gets a little wide on the bend but has an edge on these on the arm. SALE Race 4 No. 2 Here’s Tears Tipping them at $1.55 is not tipping but this bloke really should be $1.05 so anchor him in multis with some of your other plays today. Eons above these in class and should justify the quote that is already generous and inflated for this staying weapon. Race 6 No. 6 Going Alright Yet to win here but has raced far superior opposition in town and has won in good time at Sandown and Cranbourne so she can handle tighter tracks. Steps well which is critical off this tricky 520m start. If she lands forward she will be in the finish. Race 8 No. 3 Gotham Baroness Super effort in her heat when she looked lost around this circuit, copping several checks trying to advance, to only just go under off a tough draw. Looks a great EW bet and only needs to secure a clear passage to hit the podium. Shouldn’t miss a place and can win. GAWLER Race 6 No. 1 Locked and No. 2 Lala Hibiscus The 2 is developing some suspect traits at Angle Park through the pen but a return to Gawler where she gets the finish on lure should switch her back on. Has any amount of talent and well drawn. Huge chance at big odds if she turns up this time but is running thin on trust and must produce here. The 1 is also back in the Murray kennel and is boxed to surprise here. Has raced well here several times before and worth a small spec to hit top 2. Race 7 No. 2 Nockatunga, No. 5 Sutton Abbie and No. 7 Hiring Looking for a blowout here. The 2 is hardest fence-crasher in the country and he is racing well and more importantly, loves it here. Can win. The 5 and 7 are both big prices but don’t discount either for place heavy specs here and they can even win with the right run which both can get. Taking the 8 on who is the best dog in the race but came off a long spell to perform poorly first up and is short here. Main go 2 with small saves place hard on 5 and 7 Race 8 No. 1 Big Prediction and No. 2 Christopher Rose A couple of Gawler regulars who are all boxed now. The 1 can surprise here and this is his draw. He’s hard to get past when he lands close and will get every chance to do so here. The 2 should also get a gun run through off this start and he’s a good honest dog around this track and trip. Solid middle and last sections, he will look ominous with trouble free passage.
