Glenn Ingram’s Saturday Flemington Preview Posted on June 18, 2026June 19, 2026 | Posted by Glenn Ingram RACE 1 INSOLENCE was excellent first-up on a sticky track at Geelong, the late finish screams 1400 and with similar track conditions expected, he looks a winning chance. STAR OF MACEDON had circumstances against at Caulfield, tough draw from the 1400 start. SATONO’S SHOUT is building to a win, big track suits. GALLANTRY best at a price for the Stokes stable. Selections: 13,4,1,9 Suggested Bet: INSOLENCE e/w RACE 2 Value play RAINSUN looks a very progressive middle distance horse, loves wet ground and yes to 2000m, in an open race he has a winning chance. DECALOUGE is the intriguing runner with differing form lines switching states, nicely weighted with the claim, market best guide. KINGS REFLECTION is another suited this course & distance, gap between last start and may have needed the run, can improve. HARBOUR TOWN loved the ground last start and may get similar. Selections: 17,1,10,4 Suggested Bet: RAINSUN 1 x 3 RACE 3 VEGAS JACK is a proper racehorse, fought like a lion to win at Swan Hill and now trying to go four in a row. He’s hard to knock. HIGHLAND BLAZE has been competing over the jumps does go well on the flat and in the right stable to be winning. THE WESTERN FRONT is flying and will be in the mix, no firm opinion the rest. Selections: 11,12,5,4 Suggested Bets: VEGAS JACK e/w RACE 4 POKER was gutsy winning at Bendigo and defeating a sub winner in the process, obvious challenge to meet but could have more upside than most. Nice win by CHOIR POINT last start, handles wet ground and is a filly with more progression ahead of her. RECUPERATO is an enigma, her best is right in this and raced well here previously. PRESTAR is a trier and likely to figure, good each way chance. BLETHYN loves the heavy. Selections: 14,4,5,9 Suggested Bet: POKER win RACE 5 TEN COMMANDMENTS was a stylish winner last start and eats up the track conditions. Looks to have more to come this prep. THEBELMONTGANGSTER found right race at Sandown heavily backed, has the ability and may have turned the corner. SOUGHT AFTER has upside, the former kiwi was scratched from a meeting last week. MAKE IT SWEET gives it all, could go forward and give a sight. Selections: 8,14,11,15 Suggested Bet: Exotics RACE 6 FIRST CHORUS is airborne and again finds right track conditions. She can go forward or back and does it off fast and slow tempo’s. She’s hard to beat again. STYLISH was supported first-up and ran a terrific race. HUSK and THIS TIME GIRL have scope to improve the latter yet to find her best form in recent preps. Selections: 8,6,11,16 Suggested Bet: FIRST CHORUS win RACE 7 LOOSESOMEWINMORE impressed winning down the straight last time in good time. NEW YORK LUSTRE looking to replicate last start effort coming back in class, big shout. DE BERGERAC comes through a key form refence and deserves respect on that alone. Wider chances to WINNASEDGE and MOBY DICK. Selections: 4,2,13,14 Suggested Bet: LOSESOMEWINMORE win RACE 8 JIMMY THE BEAR was specked at a price and duly saluted for the white hot Payne stable at Caulfield. Alot to like about PUNCH LANE nearing peak fitness in suitable conditions. AL DUCA and SEAFALL both in excellent form to figure in the finish. Many hopes, JIMMYTHEBEAR can go on with it. Selections: 2,4,5,12 Suggested Bet: JIMMY THE BEAR win RACE 9 PADDYPIE was a superb winner on debut and they did not forget to back it. In this stable bares close attention to rise in grade. Stablemate DIRNASEER also hitting top form as she builds through an impressive campaign. FLYING DONE goes forward and in it a long way, further chances to KALEO and SHOMA at odds if it’s sloppy. Selections: 8,4,2,6 Suggested Bet: PADDYPIE win Market Market
