RACE 2 No. 7 Lady Lark

Lightly raced filly from the Desleigh Forster stable who put in a strong finishing performance first up here at Doomben over the shorter 1200m trip. She drew a wide gate on that occasion & had little option than to drift back in the field. From a better alley tomorrow she’ll settle closer & the 1350m should be ideal at this early stage of her preparation. Great value

RACE 3 No. 1 Cellargirl

Dominant in a trial win here before scoring the run of the race also here first up a few weeks ago when powering away from her rivals from half way down the straight. She looks to have improved plenty during the break & can only be further improved going into tomorrow’s race. She simply appears better than the opposition & can justify the short quote.

RACE 5 No. 1 Rudy

Locally trained galloper from the Helen Page stable who is surely the one to beat in tomorrow’s Tatt’s Cup. Closed of strongly in the O’Shea over this trip two starts back before again finding the line well in a leader dominated Brisbane Cup over the same trip latest run. He meets an inferior bunch tomorrow & should break through for a well-deserved & overdue victory.
