RACE 5 No. 1 Dream Kisses

Ran into a mudlark (Cooroi Chase) here a fortnight back when having her first start back from a break. Although no match she did a good job not shirking her task one bit in the conditions, with a firmer surface likely tomorrow though and higher fitness levels she can turn the tables on that runner. The step up to 1200m is another plus for her.

RACE 6 No. 15 Aqua Vite

Very consistent all campaign and only has to handle the quick back up from last Saturday to go close. Dropped back from a mile to the 1350m, drew wide and had little option other than to settle back before picking up good ground down the straight to be beaten just over 2 lengths. Back up to the mile once again with no weight he can roll forward from the outset. .

RACE 8 No. 2 Monsieur Gustave

Flying galloper from the Sunshine Coast who I would have marked the best of the day if not for drawing the carpark tomorrow. Still going to stick with him (at a likely better price now) as with his natural speed he just might still be able to get over near the inside, if that’s the case in the form he’s currently in he can still land the money.
