Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on October 26, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 2 No. 1 Mrs Bouquet Unraced Sequalo mare who meets only an average bunch on debut and should take care of them without too many concerns. Ran a close 2nd in a recent trial here ridden by Jeff Lloyd who will also do the steering tonight, if he had moved a muscle in that trial she would have won quite clearly. Very hard to beat. RACE 6 No.8 Calzini Could not have been any more impressive wining first up at the Gold Coast recently, straight up on the speed she dueled hard before dropping her rival before the home turn and racing away to score by over 6 lengths being eased up on the line still clocking slick time. Yes she’s up in grade however any repeat of that will have her winning once again. RACE 10 No.3 Big Buds Lightly raced galloper trained on the track who looks very well suited in this final event tonight. Debuted with a tidy 2nd here in maiden grade and has been close up his subsequent two starts in tougher company Ipswich and again here last time out. Back to maiden company again tonight from a good gate he looks all set to break through.
