Classy customer from the Chris Anderson stable who did a good job placing at Doomben two starts back lumping 59kg before taking on the older horses last time out charging to the line at the end of 1350m in an unsuitably run affair. He’s looking for the mile, gets out to it tomorrow and the wide gate may just suit as he’ll score an unimpeded run home.

RACE 7 No.4 Baccarat Baby

Classy mare who off her trial effort appeared as though she would need the run first up at Doomben however that was not the case as she zipped home to just fail over 1200m. Back to her home track tomorrow stepping up to 1400m which looks ideal she also draws well which in a race with little speed should enable her to settle nice and handy.

RACE 8 No.16 Jeweliana

Consistent mare who has been luckless both runs this time in. She looked all set to figure in the finish two back before running into a wall of trouble near the 200m and taking no part in the race from that point. Latest she just had to wait to come over heels losing ground on the leaders before running on solidly late. Good gate, good jockey, good bet!
