Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on November 15, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets Race 2 No.7 DAWSON DIVA Locally trained mare who finished runner up to Winning Ways in the Queensland Oaks who returned to form second up running away to score at Eagle Farm over 1600m a month back. The step to 1800m won’t worry her one bit tomorrow and under the Class 3 Plate conditions she gets in ridiculously well at the weights against inferior opposition. Should be winning this! Race 8 No.12 RECKLESS CHOICE Super consistent galloper who although drawn a wide gate tomorrow still appears a great chance of winning the inaugural Mooloolaba Cup. Big effort to beat all bar the very smart Deep Image at Eagle Farm a fortnight back which was his Race run for 6 y. Tempo suited that day however his sectionals from the back were the best in the race and the step to a mile looks perfect. RACE 9 No.1 BETTER REFLECTION Very promising filly who hasn’t been spotted since a very unlucky effort at Eagle Farm 4 weeks back over the longer 1200m trip. She ended up way too far out of her ground on that occasion before hooking wide in the straight making up many lengths to just fail in a completely unsuitably run race. Expect her a lot closer in the run tomorrow and very hard to hold out. Market Market
