Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on July 29, 2021July 29, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.10 My Demetra Team Snowden trained mare who although out of the winners circle for quite some time (770 plus days) has been very consistent and looks to have found a very suitable race tomorrow. She measured up well at this level last prep and will be just about at her peak for tomorrow’s assignment with a decent weight drop in her favour. Suggesting she’ll run well on an each-way basis. RACE 4 No.1 Criminal Code Three starts this prep for a win and placing coupled with an unplaced effort sandwiched in between, there were excuses on that occasion as he did pull up lame. He really did put away the opposition well last start and can go right on with the job tomorrow only rising half a kilo off that win. He races well here, the drier track won’t concern, he looks very hard to beat. RACE 6 No.10 Think Free Super consistent mare who has won 6 of her 20 starts to date. Her last couple of efforts have been solid placings at Grafton and here the latest running home well albeit a little waywardly which arguably cost her the race. Like the fact she’s going up in distance tomorrow and keep in mind her only run here at this trip was a win.
