Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 13, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 3 No.6 Capital Gain Queensland trained stayer who ventures south tomorrow for the 2400m Christmas Cup. Whilst the opposition are stronger than he’s been going around against of late he did catch the eye at his latest run making ground at the end of 2030m. He’s an out and out stayer who will appreciate the additional trip tomorrow and will likely go around over the odds. Race 4 No.10 Wild Ruler Debutante from the Snowden yard who makes his debut here in the half million dollar Inglis Nursery. He’s by Snitzel from a good sprinting mare purchased for 520K and if his barrier trials are anything to go by he’ll be hard to beat here. They’ve both resulted in wins with the first being at Randwick before scoring well at Gosford. When they win trials from this yard they’re generally ready to go fresh! Race 6 No.8 Signore Fox Team Snowden nominated this fellow for feature racing at Eagle Farm together with this race on Saturday however as they didn’t accept with him up north we can gather they are confident of a forward showing here. Liked his first up win at Randwick before going back and running on well at Eagle Farm. Can handle the drop back in trip and prove hard to beat.
