Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 15, 2022December 15, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.3 Snapback As per usual Team Snowden have a terrific group of youngsters heading towards the Magic Millions in 4 week’s time. We’ve seen Godfather at Eagle Farm last Saturday & Sovereign Fund at Wyong on Wednesday both win impressively & book themselves a slot in the big race. Now we have Snapback who cost 825K at the sales & beat home Godfather in a recent Canterbury trial with neither being pressured. Exciting times, he should be making a winning debut! RACE 6 No.11 Sunshine In Paris Throwing the wide barrier out the window and going on what I’ve seen with my eyes in regard to this lightly raced filly from the Annabel Neasham yard. Very impressive winning her maiden at Canberra she then tackled a Listed race at Doomben clocking in 3rd. Had the tempo been a little stronger she would have just about won as she was finishing hard. 1400m Saturday looks good for her. RACE 10 No.6 Frumos Yep, I’m going again as will many others, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if half the country were riding this mare and J-Mac home in the last race on Saturday. I know it’s not the first time however she had absolutely no luck last start bailed up badly for a run in the straight never gaining a clear crack or able to be tested. She really is ready for a change of luck and if there’s one man who can turn her fortunes around it’s James McDonald! Quaddie 8, 4, 6, 1 1, 9, 3, 7 5, 15 6, 14 Market Market
