Chris Nelson’s Kembla Grange Best Bets Posted on November 20, 2020November 20, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.3 Atlantic King Lightly raced galloper from the Matt Dunn yard who shows plenty of promise. Good, strong winner at Randwick on Melbourne Cup Day second up rising from 1400m to the mile he should have plenty of improvement still left to come and being almost 3 weeks between runs I don’t see the 100m drop back in distance likely to cause any concerns. Confident he can salute once again. RACE 6 No.9 Macroura Thought the first up effort on a seriously heavy surface was quite soild only going down a length and a half. She’s been kept fresh since which is also a positive and has been here once to the track for as many wins. Drawn to gain the gun run in the race for Jason Collet she should be breaking back into the winner’s circle. RACE 7 No.15 Bottega Throw at the stumps here with this one who has drawn the extreme outside gate, 16 of 16! With a touch of luck or if able to find some cover in the run I think she’ll run a terrific race as her past couple have been close up efforts behind the likes of Criaderas and then Colette in the rich Golden Eagle. Big drop in the weights is a definite plus as well. Quaddie 2, 9, 12 3, 7, 11, 15 1, 3, 4 2, 4 10, 13 Market Market
