Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Preview Posted on August 12, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.12 Stick With Me Chris Munce trained mare who has the interesting record of 4 wins and zero placings from her 12 outings. Unfortunately she missed the start a couple of lengths first up at the Sunshine Coast before making up ground in the straight. No such dramas at the start last time out at the Gold Coast however she was held up in the straight, once clear she quickly picked up and put away her rivals in very strong fashion. Progressive type who can measure up. RACE 3 No.4 Smart Devil Another last start Gold Coast winner this time from the Bevan Laming stable who looked terrific scoring there last week coming from last on the home turn in a race not really run to suit. Caught wide from an awkward gate early on Dan Griffin took him back to last before hooking wide on the home turn unleashing a big finish to mow down his rivals. Beaten by a smart one only other run and looks a very promising type. RACE 6 No.2 Flamboyer Keeping the Gold Coast theme going here as this in form sprinter is trained down there by Kelly Doughty. Ran his rivals ragged at consecutive starts here and at the Sunshine Coast over tomorrow’s race distance of 1400m before being stepped up to 1600m last time out at Doomben in the Tatt’s Mile. He gave his all in that race however just couldn’t quite see it out. Back to 1400m tomorrow on a track with give in it suits him down to the ground. Best Bet – Race 3 No.4 Smart Devil Best Value – Race 2 No.12 Stick With Me Quaddie – 3, 5 / 2, 5 / 1, 3, 4, 10, 11 / 2, 5, 7, 8 Bet Now!
