Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on October 6, 2022October 6, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.3 En Pointe Lightly raced filly from the Robert Heathcote yard who does take a decent step up in grade tomorrow however there was plenty to like about her last start win. She may have only beaten four runners at the Sunshine Coast however looked to me to be coasting away from them late with plenty in the tank. She’s got plenty of upside and I’m more than happy to have something on her each-way. RACE 9 No.2 Shamrock Lu As it stands, should they all run there is very good speed on paper in this race. That’s going to help those off the pace of which there aren’t many, this very consistent galloper from the Gollan yard fits the category and is racing in top form. A winner here this trip two back before just feeling the pinch with 60.5kg at Doomben last start. He never gave up though and will appreciate carrying 2kg less this time around back to his favourite track. RACE 10 No.13 Queen Of Dubai I was very keen on her first run for David Vandyke at the Gold Coast with one query though, the heavy track. Well, either she didn’t go a yard on it or I’m overrating her however I’ll happily give her another chance tomorrow as her form down south in better grade is certainly good enough to win this and we know the track will be dry at Eagle Farm.
