RACE 1 No.9 Smirk

Just get the feeling this filly from the Chris Waller yard is hitting her straps at the right time. Only lightly raced she prevailed narrowly at Canterbury two back before improving plenty to clock in third at the Gold Coast in the Listed Bracelet. A repeat of that or further improvement suggests she’s going to be very hard to beat tomorrow.

RACE 6 No.16 Startantes

Terrific filly from the Rob Heathcote stable who can bounce back into winning form tomorrow. Cracking run first up in the weight for age Victory Stakes clocking in on the heels of the placegetters before poorly away and just too far back here a couple of weeks ago. She did make ground and was eased near the 200m which didn’t help her finishing effort.

RACE 7 No.13 Oscar Zulu

Absolutely zero luck first up at Gosford when just coming into the race at the right time, looking all set to challenge he ran into a dead end which quickly put an end to his chances. Overall his form has been quite consistent for some time now and he’s won on all types of going. From a good gate settling around midfield he’s right in this at very good odds.
