Race 1

ILIKEITLIKETHAT (1) was fantastic in defeat in a race where they rated 1.54.0, she has the draw and has some speed and off the back of her first two performances it is hard to suggest her being beaten here. ROCK THE TOUR (8) is well bred and well placed with the draws, should follow speed well and be dangerous late. SWEET ROBBIE (6) looks to have ability with NEVELE ARMA (4) but both have tricky draws to work with. CAMEO COSTALOT (3) and THEMARASSHADOW (7) both novelty chances.

Race 2

ULTIMATE TESS (5) is a heart in mouth type of watch if you back her, but she has plenty of talent and on ability she would win this but is likely to be short and can do things wrong as we have seen. MYHEARTBEATSTRUE (8) is first up and creates interest from the powerful Aiden De Campo stable but is following out a shaky beginner. MRIYA DREAM (9) is racing decent and looks suited to be getting home well. ELISH STAR (2) is always a novelty chance but just doesn’t win anymore. MISS FRANCENE (7) is capable but does things wrong more than she does them right. UPTOWN LAD (10) is a chance at bigger odds, thought he travelled into it well before running into bother last start, throw at the stumps.

Suggested Bet: ULTIMATE TESS (5) to win.

Race 3

SHIMMERING (4) caught the eye on return running up behind a wall against a quality field, has some decent speed and second up should see an even better version of her and looks hard to beat. SLAY QUEEN (5) is suited in this grade but bumps into another tricky draw but she is capable. CEASE TO REACT (7) on the back up from Friday night and looks better suited in this grade but the draw hurts and still getting a gauge on him this time in. CINCH (1) is a rocky beginner but has talent, positioning is of concern today. DROP THE ACE (8) a novelty chance.

Tips: 4 5 7 8

Suggested Bet: SHIMMERING (4) to win.

Race 4

Plenty of tempo early here. TRUNKEY CARRAWA (6) can rocket out of the gate, but it is hard to cross from the wide draws in this lightning lap concept as they are all guns blazing from the beginning, if he does cross then he is the one to beat at the lap trip. AMERICAN TYPHOON (2) is a decent beginner and will be looking to get to the pegs, she is versatile in this and will likely get a good run. SUNSHINE SWIFT (9) will be punching through solidly and just did too much early last start, expect her to be dangerous again. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (3) races well at this distance and must be respected with GOTA GOOD WARHOL (10) who will be running on well. ICY COLD (7) capable but draw is her killer here.

Suggested Bet: SUNSHINE SWIFT (9) each way.

Race 5

PINNY NOIR (7) returns and has blinding gate speed, will be charging out and looking for the rail and looks hardest to beat, form was luckless towards the end of the prep against talented types, go well. AMBITSIYA (11) is the stablemate who also returns, she has plenty of ability but needs time to balance up so the draw, distance and capacity field are all negatives for her chances. UP AND ALIVE (12) first up for Aiden De Campo has been a consistent performer and has a lot of high speed to bring her home well. Novelty chances to YOUR GRACE (3), IM EUGENE (4), CHEKKER (5) and BET ON THE RIVER (6) who will all be jostling for an early position.

Suggested Bet: PINNY NOIR (7) to win.

Race 6

Open contest. MACHANE SAID (1) gets the draw and although he isn’t used much off the gate early, I think they will ask him today and he will likely lead and be hard to run down. MISTER KOPA (9) is going to get that soft run and be likely three back the pegs and if the gaps come, he is quite potent off a soft run. BALTIC ACE (12) is first up since 2024; he has plenty of ability but a big ask with barrier twelve over a mile. BLOCKJORG (2) is a step or so below her best, she has some speed but hard to get to keen on currently. JOEY JAMES (3) is capable but is tricky to catch these days, best is good enough. LUKE ATTACK (10) is consistent enough and can do some work and SLAMMA ALABAMA (8) is capable but hasn’t been racing well.

Tips: 1 9 10 3

Suggested Bet: MISTER KOPA (9) each way.

Race 7

RUBY LOU (2) was a nice return off a soft run and has the speed to lead, second up sees her strip fitter and she will give them something to catch. KURIOUS BOY (1) has been racing some talented types, this grade suits better and expecting him to be dangerous late. THOMSON BAY (8) will hug the rail and is coming off winning the Bridgetown Cup and he loves to follow speed in this company. WHOS THE DAD (3) racing well enough but may have to do the work again. Map looks tricky for 4-7 as they have speed but so do the inside runners.

Tips: 2 1 8 3

Suggested Bet: RUBY LOU (2) to win.

Race 8

Good solid tempo race expected here with plenty of speed and depth. REINETTE (1) gets the draw to show her speed and is versatile and looks likely to take some cover and be dangerous late, especially if there is a hot tempo. BLAZING REACTOR (3) not currently at his best but drops back to country grade and has plenty of early speed along with DARK EYES (5), ARMA BELIEVER (6) and BETTORS PRIDE (7) and with all of that it constitutes well for MAXIMUM ROCK (8) who will get a lovely run and caught the eye on Friday night, will be thundering home. ARMA BELIEVER (6) and BETTORS PRIDE (7) much better horses on speed and can run good time but they both can’t lead so tempo will be solid. ROCK ME OVER (4) a novelty chance as he is very honest.

Tips: 8 1 7 6

Suggested Bet: MAXIMUM ROCK (8) each way.

Race 9

FOLLOW ROCKNROLL (1) ran along solidly before shying at a peg and breaking last time out, he went back and won a trial well and has the draw to lead and be dangerous again, think he will run a big race here. BETTOR MOVE ALONG (8) could be the danger and although the win was at Bridgetown he showed that he’s still got it with his win, nice draw and will get the run of the race. CURADH (11) has plenty of high speed and will be closing off well in his return run. ICE COLD SAPPORO (7) looked to focus better last start and won well but his last two wins have been from the lead and don’t see him getting there today. BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (9) and LEAVEAMESSAGE (10) novelty chances.
