Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on October 28, 2021October 28, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.2 Big Muskie Don’t expect any great odds about this one however he looks the clear winner and an ideal way to kick off the day! Really liked the way he weaved his way home from back in the field here last start over 1400 beating all bar the all the way winner, the mile this time around looks absolutely perfect and the opposition not overly strong. RACE 5 No.9 Be Water My Friend Beaten last start as a $1.65 favourite is not a great recommendation however nothing went right for him on that occasion and his effort to run into a placing was a very good one. He missed the start by 2 lengths, came wide on the turn sustaining a long run before peaking very late all whilst lumping 60.5kg. Yes this is tougher however I feel he’s well up to it. RACE 10 No.6 Salateen With the scratching of Better Get Set this race is for Salateen’s taking. Only the two starts for Tony Gollan have resulted in a comprehensive win at Doomben before a solid closing second last time out here running home from last after missing the kick. Jimmy Orman jumps on board with the pair set to land the perfect run from an ideal draw. Looks the winner! Quaddie 6, 4, 1, 7 7, 1, 4, 10 2, 5, 7 1, 6 Market Market
