Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on March 8, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 6 No.11 Rocknavar Matt Dunn trained filly with any amount of upside having only had the 4 career starts to date. She created a big impression winning at Grafton before coming to town latest when perhaps a little unlucky not to land the major prize running on well into 2nd after losing a length or so at the half way mark. Gets her chance to turn the tables on Tatcee tomorrow. RACE 7 No.3 Tumbler Yes she has been a little costly of late and I’m the first to admit that however she just looks to have plenty in her favour tomorrow and I’m more than prepared to give her another chance. The positives are the step to 1400m, the big long run home at Eagle Farm which she’s crying out for and the 3kg claim for Corey Bayliss which sees her get in with only 53kg on her back. She’ll be very hard to hold out! RACE 9 No.4 Reckless Choice Doubt there’s a horse going better in Brisbane at the moment than this galloper who made it two on the trot bolting in last start which was a similar result to his previous Doomben win. He just travels so kindly in his races and always seems to be there challenging on the home turn with a tank full of petrol. No reason to suggest he won’t win again!
