Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on April 15, 2021April 15, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 6 No.9 Contemptuous Lightly raced galloper from the O’Dea/Hoysted yard who closed off nicely at Doomben last start in a likely strong form race behind the very talented Weona Smartone who led throughout to win in smart time. His prior run was ok on unsuitable ground which followed a dominant Sunshine Coast win fresh. Look for him to be storming down the outside once again tomorrow. RACE 7 No.5 Junction Toowoomba trained galloper who looks to have found the perfect race tomorrow. There’s three resuming stayers in this race who (with others) will get back whilst he and the very likely leader Epic Girl will be bowling along out front. With Epic Girl a risk at 1400m Junction will be there to strike in the straight and hopefully put a winning margin on the chasing pack. RACE 8 No.1 Vega One Resumes tomorrow with the Stradbroke his aim suggesting he’s not going to be wound up as yet. Having said that his trial win on Tuesday morning at Doomben was outstanding going to the line under double wraps, I’d be surprised if Michael Rodd didn’t have extremely sore arms on Wednesday. He can win first up on that performance! Quaddie 9, 4, 5, 10 5, 6 1, 5, 6, 8 13, 6, 9, 3, 11 Market Market
