Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on December 24, 2020December 24, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 6 No.5 Mr Gee John O’Shea trained galloper visiting from down south who looks ideally suited stepping up to the 2200m of tomorrow’s Group 3 Grand Prix. Strong to the line two back over the mile at Kembla Grange before very impressive up to 2000m at Hawkesbury last time out charging past the leaders before easing up in the run to the line. 2200m on Saturday looks just perfect! RACE 7 No.4 The Harrovian North Queensland star who has brought his run of winning form (8) to Brisbane scoring at his past two starts and I can’t see any reason as to why that won’t continue on Saturday as he shoots for number eleven! I’d suggest he’s improved even further since joining the Edmonds yard and the rise to 1600m of the Bernborough won’t harm his chances one bit. RACE 9 No.1 Baller Two runs for Chris Waller up here in Queensland for a couple of slashing finishing efforts at Doomben once over the 1110m and the other 1200m. What he’s been looking for is the bigger track at Eagle Farm and the 1400m both of which he gets on Saturday. There looks to be a good tempo engaged which will ensure a strong pace up front and suit his barnstorming finish. Quaddie 50% 1, 5 4, 6, 8 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 1, 8, 9 Market Market
