RACE 2 No.1 Beat The Beast

Lines up for his third run back from a break and looks well overs in early markets. Placed both outings this prep he didn’t have the clearest run down the straight last start at the Sunshine Coast however weaved his way home nicely into second spot. Yes this is a tougher task however on his best form he can measure up and is worth an each-way ticket.

RACE 5 No.2 Defence Missile

Les Ross trained galloper who was less than 2 lengths away two starts back at the Sunshine Coast after a wide run and basically had no hope at Doomben last time out when drawing wide and never even sighting the inside rail. Tomorrow he draws inside and with the claim for Maddie Wishart looks well placed this grade. Expecting a forward showing at a double figure quote.

RACE 8 No.8 Vega One

Set for the Stradbroke in 2 weeks he’s right on track and looks a good chance of picking this race up on the way through. His run in the BRC Sprint at Doomben a fortnight back was very good closing strongly from the back in a race not run to suit which was dominated by those racing up on the pace. Watch for him late!
