RACE 3 No.7 Pennino

Sunshine Coast trained mare who looks perfectly placed to return to the winners circle tomorrow. Beaten narrowly in the Group 3 George Moore two starts back she backed that up with a solid closing effort in The Gateway after turning for home in last place. Back to restricted grade tomorrow, carries no more weight and drawn to box seat. Looks a good bet at an appealing price.

RACE 6 No.4 Blondeau

Needs to win the B J McLachlan tomorrow to sure up his spot in the Magic Millions, if his debut performance is anything to go by he’ll be mighty hard to beat. Settling well back early he took off wide out before the 600m and let down with a big dash to race clear inside the 200m only to run out of puff late. The winner has since won again!

RACE 9 No.6 River Racer

Ready to peak tomorrow at her third run back from a break. Both runs this prep have resulted in 3.7 length defeats at open Group 3 and Listed level and drops back to her own sex tomorrow. Her latest effort behind Deep Image in the Lough Neagh was particularly impressive as she only gained clear running late hitting the line strongly. Look for her to be winding up late.
