Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on January 18, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 4 No.7 Miss Shanti Chris Waller trained mare who had also accepted at Rosehill however the stable have decided to keep her in Brisbane in what looks a very winnable race. She strung together a consistent run before winding up 4th at the Gold Coast a fortnight back in a race which wasn’t run to suit. Her effort to make ground from last was terrific and note she was found to be lame post-race. Gets her chance here. RACE 7 No.11 Constantine Definite chance tomorrow in a race where he will go out as a better than each-way chance. Two solid performances at his first couple of starts this prep before an unlucky 4th two back followed by a closed up 5th in a better grade race last start at Doomben. Tomorrow’s Open Handicap isn’t strong suggesting he can definitely measure up. RACE 9 No.10 Coral Bay Model of consistency this prep winning his first three starts before a very unlucky effort in the Country Cup at Doomben two weeks ago. Unfortunately for his supporters he just couldn’t gain clear running until too late, once he did though he certainly hit the line hard, without doubt he should have finished closer if not won. Big chance to make amends tomorrow. Best Bet Race 4 No.7 Miss Shanti Best Value Race 7 No.11 Constantine Quaddie 1, 3 1, 11 4, 8, 14 4, 9, 10 Market Market
