RACE 1 No.11 Miss Shanti

Generally like to tread warily in these middle distance races however it’s very hard to see this consistent mare from the Chris Waller stable being beaten. She’s finished close up her past 3 starts in tougher grade since being beaten an eyelash at this level four back and rises nothing in weights on that run under tomorrow’s plate conditions. Gets her chance to register an overdue victory.

RACE 2 No.8 Trevalyan

No big odds about this one tomorrow however at the current quote he still looks a good bet. Appreciated the strong tempo to win here two starts back before closing solidly along the fence into second placing last start also here behind the very much in-form Looks Like Elvis who scored easily again last Saturday. Drawn perfectly should gain the right run, big chance!

RACE 6 No.13 Dreamtimer

Missed narrowly here last week in a driving finish behind Veranes over 1200m. That was his second run back from a break suggesting he’ll be at peak fitness tomorrow for the step up to 1400m. Top apprentice Nick Keal will take 3kg off bringing his weight down a kilo on last Saturday’s narrow defeat. Only has to handle the 7 day back up to give this an almighty shake.
