RACE 1 No.12 Lime Soda

She might not be the best horse in this race however with all the speed likely up front she just may end up being the best placed in the run should those leaders start to look for an Uber late. Terrific at Toowoomba first up when given no hope she then battled away well at Eagle Farm in a tougher race. Might be a case of ‘right place right time’ and I’m happy to take an each-way punt.

RACE 6 No.4 Count Da Beans

Racing so well this Tony Gollan trained galloper who was very unlucky two back before charging to the line last start to just miss out in a driving finish. The key on Saturday is the good alley, the step to 1350m and the engagement of the ‘world’s best’ James McDonald. He’s going to park closer in the run and prove very hard to hold out.

RACE 4 No.13 Ayahuasca

Ex Victorian galloper who has settled into life at Tony Gollan’s very well judging by her win at Doomben last start. Jockey Ryan Maloney wasn’t looking to push on at her local debut however she was caught wide giving him little or no option eventually finding the front. Loved the way she kicked before clearing away from her rivals late. She can take a step up in class and win again.
