RACE 4 No.3 Magnufighter

Sunshine Coast trained galloper who wasn’t far from the in-form So You Win last start and meets that galloper 2kg better off at the weights tomorrow for only a 1.6 length defeat. Thought he could have finished closer last time out suggesting he’ll be ready to go this time around. 5 of his 7 wins have come here at Doomben suggesting he’s a great each-way chance.

RACE 6 No.9 Kateru

Ex Godolphin galloper now in the care of Chris Anderson who couldn’t have been any more impressive winning at his first local outing on the Gold Coast. Settling back last having drawn the second from outside gate Larry Cassidy sat patiently until reaching the straight when he unleashed the Sepoy gelding who passed every single runner. Big chance we’ll see a similar result tomorrow should he run up to that!

RACE 8 No.11 Isotope

Race of the day for mine is the Gold Edition which features this filly who was so impressive winning here a fortnight back taking on the reigning Magic Millions Champion Away Game. The early markets have this Tony Gollan trained mare a short priced favourite, likely too short at this stage however expect a better price closer to race time. I’m with her.
