RACE 1 No.1 Alert And Ready

Toowoomba filly who although likely looking for further than the 1110m tomorrow can still breakthrough for a well-deserved first win. She’s been strong to the line both starts since losing the jockey on debut and doesn’t look to face any serious opposition in tomorrow’s opening race. If close enough once they head for home she’s going to take a ton of holding out!

RACE 6 No.10 Glitter Strip

Lightly raced galloper from the leading stable who looms as a definite each-way chance tomorrow. She drew wide and had little option than to go back first up before finding the line well after a chequered run down the straight until late. Second up she never looked like winning however still made ground to the line in a race run in dismal conditions with heavy rain falling.

RACE 7 No.5 Desert Lord

Totally dominant winning first up for new trainer David Vandyke at Eagle Farm late August this grade before not far away last time out up to open company. He didn’t show the same turn of foot there however the opposition were definitely stronger with the winner being The Harrovian who won again last Saturday at Doomben. In a race with little speed he can take up a prominent position early.
