Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on February 28, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 1 No.11 Eric The Eel Well, this is the day for the horse with the ‘cult figure’ name. He’s living off a couple of strong Group performances in his 2yo season however time is running out with punters as he has become very costly. He’s being aimed at races down south during the carnival however should he not beat an average bunch tomorrow rising suitably in trip he never will. I think he can. RACE 5 No.1 I’m A Rippa Pacy galloper who has the sufficient speed to find the front tomorrow and from there he’ll prove extremely hard to run down. Nice and fresh having not raced for a couple of months (which suits) he faces the weakest opposition he’s been up against for quite some time and is certainly aided by Steph Thornton’s claim. Should be a case of ‘first out, first home’! RACE 6 No.9 Exondabeach Unbeaten 3yo from the Team Sears yard out of Toowoomba who has really impressed at both wins. He clocked good time winning at the Sunshine Coast just coasting to the line late before being backed as if unbeatable at Eagle Farm charging over the leaders near the line to arrive and he clocked some extremely slick late sectionals in doing so. Additional 200m a big tick, wins again! Best Value Race 7 No.6 Adoradancer Quaddie 1, 4, 9 1, 5, 6, 9, 15 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 10, 12 Market Market
