Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 26, 2024April 26, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 1 Bracton and No. 8 Nitro Ruby Steady one to start the card. The 1 on its best form wins but the trip is short of what she wants lately. Still better than these. The 8 will show her speed and if she crosses she will be hard to reel in. Race 2 No. 1 Curates Egg and No. 4 Sneaky Pint The 1 looks perfectly placed here. First start under race conditions but has seen the track. A good step and muster and he’s the one to beat here. The brother to the red in box 4 will offer some pressure here and he was good last week. Improvement won’t surprise and goes well if he offsets the box. Race 3 No. 5 Fancy That Fred and No. 7 Two Ronnie’s The 5 a part of this very promising litter and back to 400 after his derby heat failure will see him go better. Can show speed and is getting better. The 7 was superb last week winning in good time and comfortably at that. A repeat makes him a serious threat here. Race 4 No. 8 Stylish In Black and No. 3 Our Girl Jupiter First Oaks heat and the 8 is a very different dog to when she was here last. Can handle the box, the distance and the track. Huge show here if she positions up there early. The 3 leads on her ear here. She is a funny dog who can get away and stop quickly but no doubting where she will be after 30m. Will give a sight. Race 5 No. 8 Lip Tricks and No. 6 Sunset Serengeti The 8 is going better than ever at the moment. Stepping much better and will appreciate the rise in trip here. She can give a sight. The 6 the one to beat. Usually comes out and finds herself up on the speed and runs good time. Tricky draw but she loves it here. Race 6 No. 4 Wise Barra and No. 8 Tahiti Dreams The 4 showed she was more than a one track wonder with a good all the way win here last week. Ran time and a repeat will see her the one to beat. The 8 is very under rated and she was tremendous at Cannington in a tough race. If she lands close here she will shake the life out of this. EW at least for her. Race 7 No. 5 Crumble Monelli and No. 1 Kingshott If the 5 turns up and leads, the 5 wins. It’s as straight forward as that. The 1 might run a race at odds if there is any trouble but the 5 will be short for a reason here. He is the TR holder and unbeaten after 5 runs track and trip. Race 8 No. 2 Kanan Stark and No. 7 Sunset Comanche The Derby final and a very good race. The 2 cost himself the win in the heat off a similar draw and he can atone for that here. Well mapped again and will strip fitter. Great EW show. The 7 has an engine, admittedly it’s an engine that goes better when fuelled up at Cannington but he is well boxed here for mine and could surprise. Still unsure if he’s not comfortable around here like some other with ability or he just needs a bit of room and more racing at this track. We get a price to find out here. Race 9 No. 7 Jumpin Jules and No. 1 Ash The Flash The Rocket Rod double play here. Jules and Ash, the kennel pillars who rarely disgrace themselves around here. Both will step well and try and hold forward spots and they just keep sticking on. If either is close, they will hit the frame. Leaning to Jules who might get up there out wide in this but certainly not ignoring Ash. Race 10 No. 2 All About Quartz and No. 3 Danny Heffernan The 2 might sneak under a few guards here. Will track the red up and she has more strength in the run home to be a threat. Can surprise. The 3 is ready now as well and he had zero luck last time after a good effort 2nd up to score. Will be running on well and must go in. Race 11 No. 4 Butter Me Up and No. 3 All About Coal The 4 looks for the arm here then it’s a matter of getting through that flat spot she has up the back. If she can hold her spot, she will certainly be in the finish. The 3 will charge through the last section here and this could be run to suit him. Only needs to stay close and he’s a force. Race 12 No. 5 Tweak Freak and No. 8 Erasmus Duke The 5 goes fast here and she will try and skip away on these. Can be hard to catch when she’s on and this is very winnable for her. The 8 has found a new level lately and he will be moving into this quickly. Racing well and hard to stop if he runs up to his recent fast win. THE GARDENS 4 heats for the Stayers feature event with the final next week Race 5 No. 8 Nangar Lucy and No. 2 I’ll See Race 6 No. 6 Palawa King and No. 7 Redeemer Blue Race 7 No. 2 Raiders Guide and No. 6 Moraine Suzie Race 8 No. 7 Canya Amy and No. 8 Aston Costello Market Market
