BRICKIES DREAM (4) has been racing in stands or from back line draws in mobiles recently but gets the chance to use his gate speed here and looks a big danger. HES NEVER BEEN BETA (10) and MAGNUS VICTOR (11) were both placed behind State Of Heaven here last week and can play a part from their nice trailing draws. Tips: 1 4 10 11 Suggested Bet: MACHS BETTOR (1) to win. Race 2 LUSAKA (9) has been a beaten favourite at his last two starts but his efforts have been full of merit and he is the one to beat again despite the wide draw. POST GAME (4) has only been placed in one of his last nine starts but he looks a big improver if he can find the pegs quickly. OCTOBER REIGN (8) is racing well and has the gate speed to offset this barrier. ONESMARTFELLA (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be charging home if he sees daylight at the right time. Tips: 9 4 8 10 Suggested Bet: LUSAKA (9) to win. Race 3 THE CODE BREAKER (2) impressively won a recent Pinjarra trial and he is drawn to lead tonight and appeals as the one to beat. JETT STAR (5) worked hard in the run when a game 2nd here last week and should be in the finish again. EL CHEMA (8) was an impressive last start winner and has the turn of foot to be dangerous if he can get the right cart into the race. STAR CASINO (10) was blocked for a run when 4th to Mister Smartee last week and will need some luck here as he follows out a slow beginner. Tips: 2 5 8 10 Suggested Bet: THE CODE BREAKER (2) to win. Race 4 STEEL THE SHOW (1) impressed when 3rd to Pinny Tiger here last week after working in the run and is clearly the one to beat here after coming up with the pole draw. GALACTIC STAR (2) is drawn to get a lovely run on the back of his stablemate and should be in the finish. TO FAST TO SERIOUS (3) wasn’t suited the way the race was run first-up but looks an improver tonight. ALCOPONY (4) wasn’t far away when 4th to Pinny Tiger here last week and should be thereabouts again. Tips: 1 2 3 4 Suggested Bet: STEEL THE SHOW (1) to win. Race 5 OPAL HUNTER (1) finished just behind the placegetters in the Gold Bullion Final before defeating a weaker field at his last start and should give a great sight from the pole tonight. WAVERIDER (7) was an impressive 1.56.2 winner from the breeze at his return and will make his presence felt despite the wide draw. ARTFUL MAJOR (10) and BET THE HOUSE (12) fought out the finish at their last start and are both capable of winning this event with a bit of luck in running. Tips: 1 7 10 12 Suggested Bet: ARTFUL MAJOR (10) each way. Race 6 TENZING BROMAC (10) has worked hard and been placed at his past two starts in good company. He is drawn to enjoy a soft run on the pegs tonight and will be dangerous if he sees daylight at the right time. MINSTREL (11) was a game 2nd in the Nullabor after facing the breeze and should fight out the finish again. LAVRA JOE (1) was the eye-catching effort in the Nullabor and will be hard to beat out in front but can still win if crossed at the start. PINNY TIGER (5) has gone to a new level recently and his all-the-way win in quicker time than the Nullabor must have him in contention. CATCH. A WAVE (7) had the race run to suit last week and could repeat the dose again. Tips: 10 11 1 5 Suggested Bet: TENZING BROMAC (10) each way. Race 7 ACHARNE GIRL (8) drops in class on her recent efforts and is clearly the one to beat here. ROCKNROLL SASS (3) will give them something to catch if she can find the front without doing too much work in the early stages. ALTA QUEEN (6) has improved to win her last two starts and could bring up the hat-trick with the right run. MISS SASSY (1) has options from the pole and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 8 3 6 1 Suggested Bet: ACHARNE GIRL (8) to win. Race 8 FRANCO ECUADOR (3) was driven softly first-up and hit the line nicely but is expected to be given his chance tonight and should give a great sight. ROLLING FIRE (4) had excuses at his last start and his recent trial indicates he is back to his best and looks a major player tonight. IRA POOLE (2) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but is drawn well and is capable of winning with the right run. SOLESSEO MATUCA (6) is racing as good as any horse in the field but the draw will make it tough. Tips: 3 4 2 6 Suggested Bet: FRANCO ECUADOR (3) to win. Race 9 WALL STREET GIRL (1) has finished 2nd in four of her last five starts and this barrier gives her the perfect chance to break back into the winners’ circle. PER ARDUA AD ASTRA (3) drops in class from his recent assignments and has the gate speed to make things interesting early. MY LITTLE BIG MAN (4) has finished 2nd at his last two starts and should be thereabouts again. THOMSON BAY (8) is the class runner of the field but will need a solid tempo to bring him into winning calculations. Tips: 1 3 4 8 Suggested Bet: WALL STREET GIRL (1) to win. Race 10 LADIESHAVTIME (7) has impressed with one win and two 2nds from her three race starts and looks the one to beat despite the wide draw. POPPYS LAST DANCE (3) did things wrong on debut but ran on to finish 2nd in good time and looks to have plenty of ability. AKOYA PEARL (2) has trialled nicely for her debut and is well drawn.
