RACE 2 No.11 Divine Unicorn

Thought this one and A Shin Rook were the two chances in this race however with the latter now a scratching I’m keen on this lightly raced galloper from the Matt Dunn yard. Climbed off the canvas to score first up after being headed inside the final 200m by Oink, that was a very strong effort considering he was resuming over the 1400m trip. Shapes as though the mile will suit and with his main rival out of the way looks the one to beat.

RACE 4 No.1 Sizzling Belle

Consistent filly who finished only just over 4 lengths from Estijaab in the Golden Slipper two starts back. She resumed off a break here last week when ridden back from a wide gate, she snuck through saving good ground into the straight however ran into a dead end near the 200m losing all momentum, she should have finished a lot closer than the 5.25 length margin.

RACE 9 No.2 Anatola

The old adage of backing mares in form rings true here with this flying daughter of More Than Ready going for three straight victories. She raced on the pace proving too strong first up before working to find the front at the Gold Coast last start showing no signs of stopping down the straight running her rivals into the ground. Tomorrow’s opposition are no stronger suggesting she can win again.
