Changes To Deposit Methods Posted on May 6, 2024January 29, 2026 | Posted by TABtouch The Australian Government has passed legislation that prevents customers from using credit cards to deposit funds into their online wagering accounts. This ban takes effect from 11 June 2024, and from this date we can no longer accept credit cards as a deposit method. What this means for you If you use a credit card to deposit funds into your TABtouch account, you will need to select an alternative deposit method by June 10 2024. You can continue using credit cards until 7am WA time on 10 June 2024. After this time, any credit card transaction will be declined. If you use the PayPal wallet with a credit card as the funding source, you may not be able to deposit with this method from 28 May 2024. PayPal has made the decision to block credit cards in the PayPal wallet from 28 May for customers using online wagering services. If you are impacted by this change, you will need to select an alternative deposit method. If you have a credit card attached to your PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay account, you will also need to update how you fund these payment options. Debit cards are not affected by the new legislation and are a great alternative to credit cards. We still offer a range of deposit methods to continue your betting experience with TABtouch: Debit card PayPal Apple Pay Google Pay BPay Or deposit with cash at one of our retail outlets We recommend you update your deposit methods as early as possible to ensure there is no impact to your account. If you have any questions about your TABtouch account, please contact our customer service team.
